Arafat speaking

These days, when I look at myself, I feel a deep sense of regret and a strange tenderness toward who I’ve become.
Sometimes I think I was better before—there were no dark circles under my eyes, no mind full of worries.
Yet today, in this crowd of people, I can no longer recognize myself. I feel so different, so out of place.
Standing in front of the mirror, I get startled by my own reflection, then let out a long sigh and quietly say to myself—
I never wanted to become like this… so why did it happen?
