Last week, RRILC teachers had the opportunity to join a roundtable discussion on โ€œHow Far Is the Future of Rohingya Repatriation?โ€, organized by Bay Insight and Embolden Bangladesh.

It was an important and engaging discussion with distinguished guests, including representatives from the RRRC, UNHCR, UCR, and various CBOs.

The message is clear: Rohingya want to return home but only through a safe, voluntary, dignified, and rights-based repatriation.

Our people deserve to return to Myanmar with their identity, rights, citizenship, security, and dignity protected.

A Proud Moment for RRILC!

We are delighted that our Assistant Teacher, Jannatul Bokiya, and our student, Jesmin, delivered speeches on the importance of girlsโ€™ education during the inauguration of the Secondary Girlsโ€™ School in Nayapara Registered Refugee Camp, in the presence of the Assistant Country Representative of UNHCR, the Camp-in-Charge (CiC), and other distinguished guests. We are proud of them and wish them continued success.

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Kaiser, Head Teacher of Green Garden Secondary High School, for his support and dedication to the Rohingya education system and the wider Rohingya response. Every effort, every commitment, and every contribution can make a meaningful difference in the lives and future of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

We are truly grateful for this great opportunity. With the support of UNHCR, the Government of Bangladesh, and CODEC, this new secondary school is providing Rohingya refugee girls in Nayapara with access to quality education through the internationally recognised Pearson Edexcel curriculum. This marks a new chapter in the history of Rohingya refugee education in Bangladesh and brings hope for a brighter future for Rohingya girls.
