Violence and fear should never become normal in refugee camps. Every family deserves safety, peace, and justice. Today, my heart feels heavy thinking about the children, wife, and relatives of Rus Kamal. No child should grow up with pain, fear, or the loss of a parent because of violence.

Refugees have already suffered from war, displacement, hunger, and uncertainty. They should not continue facing insecurity inside the camps. Humanity, protection, and unity are needed more than ever.

May peace and safety return to every refugee family. 🤲🕊️

Inside a fragile shelter, where light barely reaches, a child sits quietly in the arms of someone who is trying to protect him from a world that has already taken too much.
His body tells a story words cannot fully explain—thin, weak, and worn down by days without enough food. Hunger has taken more than just his strength; it has stolen the energy of childhood, the laughter that should fill this small space. His eyes don’t just look—they search, as if asking questions no child should ever have to ask: Why am I suffering? When will it end?
Behind him, the presence of care is still there—a hand gently holding him, a silent promise of love in the middle of hardship. But love alone cannot fight hunger. Love alone cannot heal a body that has been slowly breaking from lack of nourishment.
This is not just one child’s pain. It is the reality for many refugees—living between survival and suffering, where every day is a battle against hunger, sickness, and uncertainty.
No child should look like this. No child should feel this.
Yet, this is the truth they are forced to live.

Even without a playground, Rohingya refugee children still find joy in every smile, every game, and every open space. Their happiness shines where opportunities are missing. Childhood deserves more. 💛
