The skills and training center was started by the sisters of Good Shepherd Church, with the hope of providing a home and skills-training for war-affected young girls. These energetic girls learn skills that will enable them to successfully face the economical and social challenges in their futures, and are presently engaged in income-generating activities such as sewing and making leather bags, gr

eeting cards and other handicraft items. The funds raised by the sale of these AUW greeting cards will be used by AUW students to conduct workshops for the Good Shepherd girls to help them polish their skills and to donate necessary materials for their income-generating projects.
