Patiya Model High School’s Class 6 (Section A), Roll No. 01, Triyon, delivered an outstanding performance for the opposition side in today’s mock debate session. It brings immense satisfaction to teachers to see their students grow confidently and safely, progressing step by step toward a bright future.
Today, Shafayat, a Class 6 student of পটিয়া আদর্শ উচ্চবিদ্যালয় , gave a solo presentation in the mock debate session on the topic: ‘Traditional education is more important than online education.'

Alhamdulillah. Today marked the official inauguration of the Bengali Club, Language & Debate Club, and Literature Club of পটিয়া আদর্শ উচ্চবিদ্যালয়।
The opening ceremony was presided over by the Acting Head Teacher of Patiya Model High School, Mr. Sunil Kumar Barua Sir. Expressing his delight at the enthusiastic participation of the students, he emphasized the importance of acquiring knowledge beyond the academic curriculum. In his speech, he encouraged students to develop a broader understanding of society, the environment, and contemporary issues. He also highlighted the significance of debate, literature, and cultural activities in fostering critical thinking, leadership qualities, and overall personality development.
Several important preliminary decisions were adopted during the meeting:
• A Bengali Mock Debate Competition will be organized after school on 23 March 2026.
• A Literary Display Board will be established on the school premises to encourage literary engagement among students. The board will provide opportunities for publishing Bengali and English poems, short stories, essays, and other creative writings.
• Under the supervision of the English Literature Club, the “Trial Scene” from William Shakespeare’s renowned play The Merchant of Venice will be staged in July 2026.
• To enhance students’ English communication skills, daily conversation-based Chat Classes will be introduced, requiring students to use a minimum of 100 English words each day.

Dear Students,
We are pleased to inform you that the joining forms for the English Debate Club, English Language Club, and English Literature Club under your institution have already been distributed in your respective classes. Students who are interested in joining any of these clubs are requested to collect the forms by contacting Aynan Sir at the school.
Each club will operate under a structured and separate monitoring system to ensure effective participation and skill development. These clubs aim to enhance your communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and overall proficiency in English through various interactive activities and sessions. Therefore, all enthusiastic learners are highly encouraged to take this opportunity and actively participate.
Each club will feature a set of distinct activities that will be carried out by you. For example:

-Celebrating literary events and authors’ birthdays.
