โ€‹Mathematics isn't just about numbers; itโ€™s about logic, creativity, and endless possibilities! The two-day mega event Mathemagics 2026, organized by the CESC Math Club, came to a grand conclusion with immense enthusiasm, brilliant performances, and celebrated achievements.

๐ŸŒŸ Event Highlights & Morning Exhibition
โ€‹The day kicked off bright and early at 8:50 AM at the CESC Auditorium with the Exhibition of Submission-Based Events, running until 11:00 AM. Our talented students displayed remarkable Wall Magazines, Math Memes, and Posters designing, showing off creative and innovative works that left everyone amazed!

๐ŸŽ“ Honoring Our Distinguished Chief Guest :
โ€‹Professor Dr. Mohammad Shah Alam, Chairman, Department of Mathematics, Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), was warmly welcomed by CESC as the esteemed Chief Guest.

Exhibition Visit: Professor Dr. Shah Alam visited the exhibition stalls, listened to the students present their ideas, and expressed heartfelt praise for their innovative thinking.

โ€‹Exciting Competitions: He witnessed two of our highlight live eventsโ€”the Math Riddle for the young ones (Kid Event) and the intense Integration Bee for the Higher Secondary category. He thoroughly enjoyed the sharp wit and enthusiasm shown by our young mathematicians!

โ€‹๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ The Prize-Giving Ceremony:
โ€‹The formal closing ceremony commenced with a soulful recitation from the Holy Quran.

The audience enjoyed inspiring speeches by our Club In-Charges.
โ€‹A captivating video clip was screened, highlighting the incredible journey of Mohammed Marzuq Rahman, who brought immense pride to the institution by winning a Bronze Medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)! The Chief Guest and the entire audience deeply appreciated this magnificent achievement.

Dengue Awareness Rally and Cleaning Campaign at CESC

On 13 August 2026, under the supervision of Karnaphuli Regiment, 12 BNCC Battalion, a special Dengue Awareness Rally and Cleaning Campaign was organized by the BNCC Platoon of Cantonment English School and College (CESC) across the campus and platoon premises.

The programme was conducted under the leadership of 2nd Lieutenant Hasanul Karim and TUO Saiful Islam, with enthusiastic participation from the BNCC cadets. The programme was graced by the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Fahim Adnan Siddique,psc Principal of CESC, as the Chief Guest. Mainul Qader, Vice Principal (College), and Sabina Barua, Vice Principal (School), were also present as special guests.

In his address, the Principal urged the cadets to take an active role in promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and public health. He emphasized that their responsibility extends beyond maintaining a clean campus to contributing towards building a clean, healthy, and environmentally responsible nation.

As part of the campaign, the BNCC cadets carried out cleaning activities at various locations across the campus, with particular emphasis on maintaining a hygienic environment and eliminating potential mosquito-breeding sites. The programme reflected the cadetsโ€™ discipline, civic responsibility, and commitment to dengue prevention and public health.

Today, Cantonment English School & College proudly launched its AI Club โ€” a fresh start for students who want to explore innovation, creativity, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The programme opened with a thought-provoking presentation titled โ€œWhat Will the Next 50,000 Years Bring?โ€ Students who achieved success in the Bangladesh Artificial Intelligence Olympiad 2026 then shared their experiences, followed by an energetic AI 3-Minute Challenge. In just a few minutes, participants showed how AI can help solve real-life problems in creative ways.
In his closing remarks, our respected Principal Sir encouraged everyone to approach AI with curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning. He also shared a practical idea called the โ€œMatrix for Knowing Where Not to Use AI.โ€ His message was clear: AI works best when it handles routine tasks or helps create first drafts. But in high-stakes areas such as finance, law, medicine, ethics, hiring, and crisis management, human judgment must always come first. AI is a powerful assistant โ€” never a replacement for human wisdom.
This simple but important reminder left a lasting impression: the future belongs to those who use AI wisely, ethically, and responsibly.
Together, we have taken the first step toward nurturing the next generation of thoughtful AI innovators.

๐ŸŒŸ The Most Awaited Event โ€“ Spelling Bee 2026 ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“š
Today marked a memorable day for the students of Cantonment English School and College as the Language and Literary Club successfully organized its much-awaited Spelling Bee Competition!
The event aimed to enhance students' vocabulary, spelling accuracy, pronunciation, and confidence while fostering a strong love for the English language. Conducted in two groupsโ€”Junior Category and Senior Categoryโ€”the competition allowed students from different age groups to showcase their impressive linguistic abilities in a fair and competitive environment.
Our smart participants displayed great enthusiasm, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Teachers, judges, and fellow students were immensely proud of the contestants' brilliant preparation and confidence on stage.
The program concluded with a grand prize-giving ceremony, where our respected Principal Sir distributed prizes and certificates among the proud winners of both categories.

A heartfelt thanks to the Language and Literary Club, and our amazing participants for making this event a grand success.

๐Ÿ“ข July Mass Uprising Day โ€“ 2026 observed at CESC

Cantonment English School and College observed July Mass Uprising Day 2026 with due solemnity and dignity on 5 August 2026 at the CESC Auditorium.

The program opened with a recitation from the Holy Qur'an, followed by the reading of messages from the Hon'ble President and Hon'ble Prime Minister by Vice Principal (College) Mr. Mainul Kader and Vice Principal (School) Ms. Sabina Barua, respectively.

Teachers and students took part in a discussion on the significance of the July Mass Uprising, the sacrifices of the martyrs, the spirit of patriotism, and the responsibilities of the younger generation. As part of the observance, art, essay writing, and poetry recitation competitions were held, with students delivering creative, patriotic, and confident performances that made the program truly memorable.

Later, Principal Lieutenant Colonel Fahim Adnan Siddique, psc, distributed prizes among the winners of the competitions, reaffirming CESC's commitment to nurturing patriotism, democratic values, and historical awareness among its students.

CESC solemnly remembers the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising with profound respect and gratitude. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to justice and the nation continue to inspire us to uphold the values of unity, peace, democracy, and patriotism.
