Reflecting on our very first Vital Signs Practical Class held right in the heart of the community. We decided to trade the "classroom" for a community picnic, making our first hands-on medical training a day of both learning and joy. Besides these, on the same day, our students also sat for their Anatomy and Physiology exams. 📝 Conducted by CareBridge Medical Institute - CBMI
Vital Signs: Measuring BP, Pulse, Oxygen Saturation, Respiration and temperature with precision & calibration of the instruments.
Teamwork & Patient Care: Building trust and comfort with those we serve. Strengthening our bonds as a cohort of future healers.
It was a day filled with laughter, shared meals, and the incredible energy of 35 pioneers dedicated to our community's health. Also it was a beautiful reminder of why we do this: to serve our people with skill and heart.

In August 2025, a new hope was born for the health and education of the Rohingya community and their neighbors. Established on August 1st, CareBridge Medical Institute - CBMI proudly stands as an innovative hybrid medical school dedicated to transforming futures and empowering vulnerable communities.
Our mission is clear: to fill the critical gaps in healthcare access within refugee camps by training a new generation of skilled, compassionate paramedics. Because conventional medical education is often out of reach and on-site space is non-existent, our hybrid model leverages online learning with intensive monthly in-person practical sessions and exams conducted right here in the community shelters.
Building a Brighter, Healthier Tomorrow:
Specialized Program: We currently offer a robust 1-year Diploma in Paramedic (two 6-month semesters) focused on essential medical science.
World-Class Faculty: Regular classes are conducted by recognized medical doctors, nurses, and pharmacists from the Rohingya diaspora worldwide—including esteemed professionals like Dr. Khubye, Dr. Ambia Parveen, Dr. AH Kamal, others.
Quality Education: Our first batch of 35 dedicated students is already nine months into their training, utilizing comprehensive lecture notes (PDFs, slides) and medical texts.
Community First: This institute was created for the community, by the community, to provide authentic care and counter the dangers of unlicensed medical practitioners in the camps.
We have dreams to grow. Our future plans include expanding enrollment and introducing diploma programs in fields like Political Science & Advocacy, Cyber Engineering, Robotic/Drone Science, and English Language Literature.
CBMI is more than an institute; it is a movement to reclaim our educational futures. Follow our journey as we build a healthier, more resilient world, one student at a time.
