🖍21.4 percent of the cases reported that administrative and law enforcement authorities failed to prevent violations or maintain order.

🖍Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has reported widespread irregularities during the 13th National Parliamentary Election, including voter obstruction, ballot fraud, and post-election violence.

🖍According to TIB, 46.4 percent of voters were prevented from entering polling stations, and
21.4 percent of cases involved fake or fraudulent voting.

🖍The organization also documented 125 incidents of violence occurring after the election, noting that 14.3 percent of opposition polling agents were blocked from entering voting centers.

🖍TIB's findings pointed to several major irregularities on election day. Approximately 35.7 percent of voters were allegedly coerced into voting for specific candidates or symbols.

🖍Additionally, 21.4 percent of the cases reported that administrative and law enforcement authorities failed to prevent violations or maintain order.

🖍Other reported issues included ballot stuffing before voting began (14.3 percent), booth capturing (14.3 percent), and uncooperative behavior from law enforcement toward voters (10.7 percent). Allegations of bias by election officials, including returning officers, were noted in 10.7 percent of cases.

🖍The report also highlighted restrictions on the media and the flow of information.

🖍In 7.1 percent of cases, communication was disrupted, including mobile network shutdowns and obstacles that prevented journalists from accessing polling centers. Journalists and election observers faced challenges while collecting information, and accusations of vote-counting fraud were reported in 7.1 percent of cases. Additional problems included ballot shortages and the obstruction of election observers, each occurring in 3.6 percent of cases.
