🌍 Happy Earth Day 2026 | LGEOR

Earth Day, observed annually on 22 April since 1970, is a global reminder of the urgent need to protect our planet and promote environmental sustainability.

The Earth Day 2026 theme is “Our Power, Our Planet”, highlighting the collective responsibility and action needed to build a sustainable future.

At the Lab of Geoinformatics and Earth Observation Research (LGEOR), we are committed to advancing Earth system understanding through remote sensing, GIS, and geospatial technologies, contributing to evidence-based environmental solutions.

On this Earth Day, we reaffirm our dedication to sustainable research and a resilient Earth for future generations.
