প্রতিষ্ঠানটি দরিদ্র শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য বিনামূল্যে আবাসন, আহার ও কুরআনি শিক্ষা প্রদান করে চলেছে।

Objectives of the Organization:

Al-Taqwa Islamic Foundation is a non-political, non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of society through the teachings of Islam. It strives to serve the community for the pleasure of Allah (SWT) and following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Its core objectives are as follows:

a) To foster an Islamic way of life and social development based on the Quran and Sunnah.
b) To conduct structured Islamic education programs grounded in the teachings of the Quran and
authentic Sunnah.
c) To establish and operate Noorani and Hafezi madrasas (both residential and non-residential),
providing free-of-cost boarding and educational facilities for underprivileged and needy children.
Educational services include:
* Primary (Ebtidai)
* Qawmee curriculum
* Alia curriculum
* Adult Quran education
d) To reduce unemployment and promote self-reliance through the provision of technical education
and vocational training.
e) To undertake broader social development initiatives such as establishing libraries and supporting services for the poor and marginalized.

প্রতিষ্ঠানের লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য:

আত-তাকওয়া ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন একটি অরাজনৈতিক, অলাভজনক ধর্মভিত্তিক প্রতিষ্ঠান, যা সমাজ উন্নয়নে ইসলামি শিক্ষার মাধ্যমে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি এবং রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম এর সুন্নাহর অনুসরণের উদ্দেশ্যে কাজ করে। প্রতিষ্ঠানের মূল উদ্দেশ্যসমূহ:

ক) কুরআন ও সুন্নাহর আলোকে ইসলামি মূল্যবোধের ভিত্তিতে সমাজ গঠনে ভূমিকা পালন।
খ) বিশুদ্ধ ইসলামি শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা চালু করা, যা কুরআন ও সহিহ হাদীস ভিত্তিক।
গ) নূরানী ও হিফজ শাখার মাদ্রাসা (আবাসিক/অনাবাসিক) পরিচালনা করা, যেখানে দরিদ্র ও অনগ্রসর শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য সম্পূর্ণ বিনামূল্যে বোর্ডিং সুবিধা সহ নিম্নলিখিত শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকবে:
* প্রাথমিক (এবতেদায়ী)
* কওমী
* আলিয়া
* প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের কুরআন শিক্ষা
ঘ) কারিগরি শিক্ষা ও প্রশিক্ষণের মাধ্যমে বেকারত্ব হ্রাস এবং আত্মকর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি।
ঙ) দরিদ্র ও প্রান্তিক জনগণের কল্যাণে গ্রন্থাগার প্রতিষ্ঠাসহ বিভিন্ন সামাজিক উন্নয়নমূলক কাজ বাস্তবায়ন।

In the south-eastern region of Bangladesh, specifically within the eastern part of Charmonai Union No. 5 and the northern part of Tungibaria Union No. 9 in the Sadar Upazila of Barisal district, lies a river-fed area inhabited by approximately 15,000 Muslims. The majority of the population in this region lives in poverty and faces significant challenges in accessing quality Islamic education. As a result, many children grow up without proper exposure to the teachings of the Qur’an and foundational Islamic knowledge. Recognising the critical importance of Islamic and Qur’anic education in shaping moral character and guiding future generations, a community-led initiative was launched in early 2024 to establish a dedicated
institution aimed at addressing this educational gap. This led to the formation of the Al-Taqwa Islamic Foundation, envisioned as an ideal organisation committed to nurturing Islamic values and providing structured Qur’anic education from an early age.
The foundation seeks to serve as a beacon of learning, spirituality, and community support for the underprivileged families in the region, ensuring that no child is deprived of their right to Islamic education due to financial or geographical barriers.

বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিণ-পূর্বাঞ্চলে, বিশেষ করে বরিশাল জেলার সদর উপজেলার চরমোনাই ইউনিয়ন নং ৫-এর পূর্বাংশ এবং তুঙ্গিবাড়িয়া ইউনিয়ন নং ৯-এর উত্তরাংশে অবস্থিত একটি নদী-বাহিত অঞ্চল, যেখানে প্রায় ১৫,০০০ মুসলমান বসবাস করেন। এই এলাকার বেশিরভাগ মানুষ দারিদ্র্যের মধ্যে জীবনযাপন করেন এবং উচ্চমানের ইসলামিক শিক্ষার সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত। ফলে, অনেক শিশু কুরআনের শিক্ষা এবং ইসলামী মৌলিক জ্ঞান অর্জনের সুযোগ না পেয়ে বেড়ে উঠছে। নৈতিক চরিত্র গঠনে ও ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মকে সঠিক পথে পরিচালনার জন্য ইসলামী ও কুরআনিক শিক্ষার গুরুত্ব অনুধাবন করে, ২০২৪ সালের শুরুর দিকে একটি সমাজভিত্তিক উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করা হয়। এর মাধ্যমে একটি নিবেদিতপ্রাণ প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রতিষ্ঠার উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়, যা এই শিক্ষাগত ঘাটতি পূরণে কাজ করবে। এই উদ্যোগের ফলস্বরূপ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় আত-তাকওয়া ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন, যা একটি আদর্শ ইসলামি প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে কল্পনা করা হয়েছে এবং যা প্রাথমিক পর্যায় থেকে গঠিত কাঠামোগত কুরআনি শিক্ষা ও ইসলামী মূল্যবোধ প্রচারে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ। এই ফাউন্ডেশনটি শিক্ষা, আধ্যাত্মিকতা এবং সমাজকল্যাণের একটি বাতিঘর হিসেবে কাজ করতে চায়, যেন এই অঞ্চলের দরিদ্র পরিবারগুলোর কোনো শিশুই আর্থিক বা ভৌগোলিক প্রতিবন্ধকতার কারণে ইসলামী শিক্ষা থেকে বঞ্চিত না হয়।
