This morning I was sitting at my desk doing some data entry, when two young men came in and handed me this gift as a token of appreciation from the SLB Student Council. It really warmed my heart and as the saying goes "it's the thought that counts" for me. Thank you gentlemen and wishing you a blessed & prosperous 2023 as well. Keep up the good work.

It also reminds us to take a break from the cares of life and spend time with our loved ones and giving thanks. Brief History on SLB . The St. Leonard's Boy's School was opened on September 15, 1952, after its relocation from its original site on Baxter's Rd, to its present location at Richmond's Gap, St. Michael. St. Leonard's Boy's was the island's first modern secondary school , and can be credited for being the forerunner of secondary education in Barbados, as it was chosen as the pilot school by the Ministry of Education in their drive to make secondary education available to everyone ages 11+ and over despite of their socio-economic background. It is also the only public ALL boy's school at the secondary level in Barbados.
SLB strives at all times to create an environment conducive to the teaching and learning process, through various mediums and resources such as the school library, which is located on the site of the former St. Leonard's Girl's School.
