International Psychology Students Association (IPSA) Balkans was founded in 2014 by IUS psychology students. IPSA is the official representative of Turkish Psychology Students (TPOCG) in Sarajevo/Bosnia, which is a member of European Federation of Psychology Students’ Association. Our aim is bringing all psychology students from the Balkan area under one roof. We share similar goals with TPOCG and EFPSA which are improving students understanding and application of psychology and encouraging the development of various skills in order to contribute to the improvement of the field; having a positive impact on society and its perception of psychology and supporting scientific and social interaction among psychology students, academics, and professionals. We are organizing different social and academic events through which students are encouraged to overcome their social anxiety, develop good communication skill, and broaden their perception and vision of life. IPSA strives to provide quality and comfortable learning and socializing environment.

Memories from 3rd International Day of Disabled Persons Event 💫

As IPSA Balkans, we have organized our traditional event, which is the International Day of Disabled Persons; it was our 3rd organization regarding this topic. The organization has accomplished with the collaboration of Vladimir Nazor Rehabilitation Center. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım and President of IPSA Balkans Zümra Cengiz have given their speech, and in the name of „Vladimir Nazor“ Center, social worker Razija Zahirović thanked hosts and the attendees. The program was then enriched by the students of the „Vladimir Nazor“ Center who, through song, play, recitations, and folklore, showed that they really are our special children. They are our particularly talented children.
