"THE IMMIGRANT WOMAN'S CONFIDENCE

You're brilliant. Accomplished. Capable.
But every meeting, you doubt yourself.
Every opportunity, you hesitate.
Every success, you think "I got lucky."

Sound familiar?
Here's what I see with high-achieving women from minority backgrounds:

*You've overcome incredible obstacles to get where you are.
*You've proven yourself again and again.
But the voice in your head still whispers "You don't belong here."

This isn't weakness. It's conditioning.
When you've spent years being overlooked, underestimated, or having to work twice as hard
to prove your worth, self-doubt becomes a survival mechanism.
But what protected you before is now limiting you.
The confidence you need isn't about believing you're perfect.
It's about trusting that you belong in every room you enter.
Your background isn't your limitation.
It's your superpower.
Drop a emoji if you're ready to own your voice and step into your power.

3 Coaching Mistakes I’ll Never Repeat

Everyone’s journey is filled with lessons, and mine is no exception. Here are 3 mistakes I made in my coaching journey and how they helped me grow:

1. Chasing Shiny Objects
I thought signing up for every course would lead to success. But focus and alignment are more valuable than "more."

2. Neglecting Self-Care
Burnout taught me the hard way: you can’t pour from an empty cup. Now, balance is non-negotiable.

3. Not Owning My Story
I was afraid my story didn’t matter. Turns out, sharing it was the most powerful way to connect with others.

The takeaway? Mistakes are teachers in disguise.

End the Year with Purpose!

As 2024 comes to a close, take a moment to pause, reflect, and dream.

* What did you learn this year?
* What are you grateful for?
* What is one thing you want to carry into 2025?

Instead of setting resolutions, why not choose a word, a feeling, or a goal to focus on as you move into the new year? It could be growth, peace, confidence, or anything that lights your soul.

Let's step into the next chapter with intention and clarity. Share your thoughts below and let’s inspire each other to make 2025 incredible 😍

I was a guest on the "You Are Loved" podcast! ✨

I had the honour of joining Jacqueline H Waller on her amazing podcast, *You Are Loved*, where we dive deep into topics that matter to women everywhere—self-care, business, and finding balance in our busy lives.

In this episode, we talked about:

*Self-care in a busy world*—how to prioritize yourself when life feels overwhelming.

*My personal journey*—from fleeing Sudan to starting over in the Netherlands and now finding my home in the UK.

*Work-life harmony*—creating a balance that works for YOU, not just chasing perfection.

*Building a supportive community*—the power of having the right people in your corner.

It was such a powerful and meaningful conversation, and I’d love for you to listen in!

Let me know in the comments what resonates with you the most!

Heartbreaking Yet Powerful: Children's Drawings Reflecting the Realities of Darfur 🖌

Recently, Waging Peace has published a book "The Children Drawing," which contains some profoundly moving drawings by children from Darfur. These drawings are not just artworks; they're windows into the harsh realities faced by the people of the region. Through their sketches, these children depict the horrors of war and the violations perpetrated by the Sudanese army and the Janjaweed.

Their drawings are incredibly expressive, capturing the unimaginable experiences they've endured. From witnessing the brutality of armed conflict to depicting the simple joys of family life, these young artists pour their hearts onto the canvas.

One drawing, in particular, struck me deeply. It portrays a family sharing a meal, a scene of everyday life disrupted by violence. The father, depicted working in agriculture, becomes a tragic victim of the conflict, attacked and killed by soldiers. The devastation doesn't end there; the soldiers mercilessly take the lives of the entire family.

But amidst the darkness, there is resilience. Some family members survive, and through their voices, we hear the chilling accounts of the atrocities inflicted upon them and their loved ones.

These drawings serve as powerful reminders of the ongoing struggles faced by the people of Darfur. They call upon us to bear witness, to empathize, and to take action. Let's not turn a blind eye to the suffering of our fellow human beings. Together, we can strive for a world where children no longer have to depict the horrors of war, but instead, can freely express their hopes and dreams.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Waging Peace for their tremendous effort and dedication in bringing this book to the world, shedding light on the plight of Darfur. Your work is invaluable in raising awareness and advocating for change. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to peace and justice.
