Sizə bildirmək istərdik ki, Sumqayıt Təhsil Məlumat Mərkəzi / EducationUSA məsləhət və təhsil mərkəzi olaraq dekabr ayın 8-dən 2014 il öz fəaliyyətini dayandırıb.

Dear all,

It was a great journey together! With our great team we have done a lot of wonderful steps, we helped to change so many lives! Education is the choiсe, and you, my wonderful and talented students have made your choiсe!
Due to EducationUSA some of you have already reached their dreams, some are still on their way!
I want to thank all the staff, teachers, students and of course Peace Corps Volunteers for being with us, for being dedicated, motivated and hardworking!!

Dear Alumni in and around/close to Sumgayit!

You are invited to the Alumni Networking Meeting organized in frame of the Regional Alumni Outreach project sponsored by the US Embassy.

Project description:
The primary goal of the Regional Alumni Outreach project is to foster regional alumni networking and development. This program chaises the goal of bringing together active alumni to assist in US Embassy's mission – utilizing US-Educated alumni in the regional development while building strong partnership with non-alumni communities. Sumgayit is one of the five locations in Azerbaijan covered by this project – alumni in G***a and Sheki already had such networking meetings and are currently planning their future projects.

When: Saturday, January 19, 2013
Time: 1:30 pm in the afternoon
Who: USG-sponsored program alumni (YLP, FLEX, UGRAD, Muskie, TEA/PIE, Fulbright, Benjamin Franklin, EAMP and others)

Let’s get together for an interactive meeting with your fellow alumni, meet and network with each other, exchange project ideas and learn about opportunities for alumni.

Dear US Alumni! Be active guys!! Deadline is already January 22nd, 2013. If you have a good idea, maybe we can help to implement it!! You can win $1000 for individual project, and $3000 for group projects!! If you don't know how to write it, that's not a problem, our center will also provide the training about project writing!

2013 Alumni Small Grants Program

US Embassy in Baku is proud to announce the launch of Alumni Small Grants Program. Winning proposals will be eligible to receive grants of up to $1,000 for individual projects and up to $3000 for group projects. Grant application form and Request for

— Proposals should focus on the following areas: educational development, critical thinking and expression, gender equality, community service, freedom of expression, environmental affairs, youth development and alumni association building;
— Proposals must be submitted by USG alumni.
— Strong proposals will address a demonstrated need and include a plan for sustainability with ideally a multiplier effect.
