🇦🇿 Welcome Back from the “Rooted in Unity” Project!

Our amazing Azerbaijani team 🇦🇿 has just returned from the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Rooted in Unity”, which took place in Rome, Italy from 3 to 10 February 2025.

This project united young people from across Europe to explore how climate change, cultural heritage, and personal identity are connected — and how we can protect both people and the planet through awareness, reflection, and collaboration 🌱🌍.

During this journey, our participants actively took part in:
• 🛡 Workshops on climate heritage, environmental sustainability & conservation
• 🎭 Cultural exchange through national presentations, dance, and food during Intercultural Nights
• 🎨 Creative self-expression through mirror reflection, clay sculpture, painting, and symbolic rituals
• 🗣 Public speaking and negotiation in debates and a live simulated press conference
• ✍️ Emotional storytelling, reflective journaling, and writing letters to their future selves
• 🤝 Team projects focused on EU opportunities, Youthpass, and sustainable youth initiatives
• 🎥 Creation of eco-campaigns using digital tools and storytelling formats
• 🏛 Field interviews with locals about Erasmus+ and cultural climate impacts across Rome

They strengthened their emotional intelligence, learned how to act as eco-leaders, embraced diversity, and gained practical tools for social change and project creation.

We are proud of our Azerbaijani team’s open minds, deep reflections, and creative spirit throughout this powerful and emotional week! 🌟

Our Azerbaijani youth are back from the Erasmus+ project “Water Protectors: Building a Sustainable Future”, and what a journey it was!
Held in the heart of nature, this exchange brought together young minds determined to take action for our planet’s most vital resource — water.

During the project, they:
💧 Explored water sustainability through interactive workshops and field visits
♻️ Learned how climate change affects water resources and ecosystems
⚙️ Created awareness campaigns and practical eco-solutions
🧠 Reflected daily on their learning journey and discussed how to bring it back home
🌍 Connected with other cultures through intercultural evenings and group collaboration

Our Azerbaijani team returns home with a stronger environmental mindset, powerful memories, and the motivation to continue protecting our planet — one drop at a time.

Our amazing Azerbaijani team just wrapped up their journey in Vilnius as part of the Erasmus+ project “Invisible Strings” — a deep dive into emotional wellbeing, mental health, and human connection.

Over 7 meaningful days, they:
🧠 Practiced mindfulness and sophrology to strengthen inner balance
🧘‍♂️ Discovered various forms of yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation
🎭 Shared emotions, laughed through the “Joking Around” activity, and opened up in reflection circles
✍️ Created journals and wrote heartfelt letters to their future selves
🌍 Engaged in cultural nights and celebrated Azerbaijani identity with pride

Our Azerbaijani participants return with a renewed sense of self, stronger awareness, and invisible strings tying them to friendships across Europe.

Our Azerbaijani team has returned from Algorithm of Social Entrepreneurship full of fresh ideas, valuable knowledge, and unforgettable international friendships! ✅✨🌍

Throughout the project, they explored the core principles of social entrepreneurship, learned how to develop sustainable initiatives, and improved their leadership skills — all in a fun, dynamic, and supportive space! 🌱🌟

Thanks to cultural exchange, teamwork, and hands-on problem-solving, they truly experienced how powerful youth can be in driving positive change! 🙌💡

Now that they’re back home, they’re full of energy to take action, lead with purpose, and inspire those around them! 💪🇦🇿

Our Azerbaijani team just returned from Rome, where they took part in the Erasmus+ youth exchange Root In Unity- “Climate Heritage: Protecting Our Past, Embracing Our Future”!
For 8 vibrant days, they explored how culture and climate intersect — and how youth can shape both.

Highlights from the journey:
🌍 Debates on climate resilience and World Heritage
✏️ Storytelling sessions and digital campaigns for awareness
🧱 Clay workshops and espresso-art exploring Italian culture
🎤 Shared Azerbaijani traditions during Intercultural Night
💌 Reflected deeply during “Letter to My Future Self” activity

They return not just with memories, but with ideas, friendships, and the determination to make a difference.

We are delighted to share incredible news! We have successfully hosted the “Invisible Strings” project funded by the European Commission to raise awareness about mental health issues among young people and a keep them with tools to help them battle against various mental issues mainly experienced by young population in our beautiful city of Baku🇦🇿

This project provided a unique platform for young people to explore the importance of mental and physical well-being while developing essential mindfulness skills. Our Azerbaijani participants engaged enthusiastically in various activities, including yoga 🧘‍♂️, mantra meditation 🎶, and guided meditation 🌅, all designed to help them achieve inner peace.

They also took part in creative exercises like journaling 🖊️ to combat stress and anxiety, learned about the stages of cognitive development 🧠, and activated their five senses through sensory engagement activities 🎨👂🍴🖐️👁️.

As hosts, our participants not only contributed to the activities but also shared our rich culture and traditions with participants from France, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine 🌍. Their energy, hospitality, and dedication truly made the project unforgettable, leaving an everlasting impression on everyone involved! 🌟✨

Our team shall continue their learning in Vilnius, Lithuania 🇱🇹 for the 2nd activity.

From October 29 to November 6, 2024, our participants took part in the ‘We Socialize The World’ youth exchange in Milan, Italy, alongside young people from France, Greece, Hungary, Albania, Ukraine, and Italy. 🌍🇦🇿

They’ve returned from this incredible project with fresh skills and unforgettable experiences! Throughout the exchange, our Azerbaijani participants enthusiastically joined all the activities, contributing energy and creativity to workshops, discussions, and interactive sessions aimed at developing social skills and building healthy connections. ✨

They also proudly showcased Azerbaijan’s rich culture, sharing its traditions and customs with other participants, creating a memorable and meaningful cultural exchange. 🤝

We are excited to see how they will use their new knowledge and experiences to bring positive change to their community!

Our group of young people from Azerbaijan just returned from an incredible experience in Rome at the “Media Savvy: Shaping Digital Citizens” youth exchange project. 🌍

Together with their peers from Hungary, Spain, France, and Italy, our Azerbaijani participants brought their unique perspective to the project, leading engaging sessions on navigating digital information responsibly and sharing examples of the challenges youth face with media bias back home. They embraced the challenge, engaging in role-plays, deep discussions, and daily reflections that opened their eyes to the impact of media in today’s society. They didn’t just build digital skills; they formed a network of international friendships and shared goals. ✨

Taking these skills back to Azerbaijan and sparking positive digital change! We are grateful to everyone who made this journey possible and look forward to seeing the ripple effects in our communities. 💬

We are thrilled to share our incredible experience at the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project, "Let Your Mind Wonder," in The Netherlands 🇳🇱 . This journey has nurtured creativity, enhanced problem-solving abilities, and fostered innovation among ourselves. 🎨🤔💡

Our participants have engaged in a series of dynamic activities, from fun icebreakers and team-building exercises to creative workshops and collaborative storytelling sessions. They explored upcycling, brainstormed solutions to real-world problems, and learned about social entrepreneurship, all while embracing cultural diversity and environmental sustainability. 🌿🛠️🤝

By the end of this project, our team have:

We are thrilled to share our unforgettable experience from the Dream Youth Acts Eco Logically (DYAEL) project in the capital city of Italy, Rome! 🇮🇹

From October 18 to 27, 2023, our participants embarked on an incredible journey of environmental awareness and personal growth. 🌍🌿

This engaging exchange project offered the participants a myriad of diverse learning experiences that profoundly shaped their environmental behaviour.

Throughout the program, participants immersed themselves in various enriching activities, including informative sessions, workshops, group discussions, individual work, teamwork, presentations, game-based learning, a new project drafting, a dissemination plan, site visits, brainstorming sessions, daily and post-project evaluation, and individual reflection.

The supportive environment of DYAEL encouraged participants to step out of their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and immerse themselves in the rich, shared culture of their international peers. Completing this project has undeniably impacted their personal and professional development, instilling a deeper understanding of ecological issues and a commitment to making a positive change. 🌏🤝
