ADA Alumni Poetry Night📚☕️🎤

🗓️ On May 21, 2025, the ADA Alumni Association hosted a distinguished Poetry Night event at Kashalata Cafe, Azerbaijan’s first inclusive café dedicated to fostering equal opportunities and social integration.

The event aimed to introduce ADA alumni to an inclusive employment model and raise awareness about supporting youth with autism.

Highlights included performances by two special guest poets, poetry and piano by Kashalata Cafe employees with autizm, and contributions from ADA alumni, showcasing a spirit of collaboration and inclusion.

Aytan Gasimova-Eynalova, Chairperson of the “Birgə və Sağlam” Public Union, highlighted Kashalata Cafe’s vital role in integrating youth with autism into the workforce and stressed the need to expand such initiatives nationwide.

Poetry Night was a celebration of creativity, empathy, and social inclusion — affirming that every voice deserves to be heard.

We are excited to invite you to Poetry Night, organized by the ADA Alumni Board and hosted at Kashalata Cafe — Azerbaijan's first inclusive café. This special evening offers a chance to reconnect, enjoy poetry and music, and celebrate the importance of inclusion and equal opportunities for people with disabilities.
Kashalata Cafe employs 20 young individuals, including 10 persons with disabilities, some of whom will perform poetry and play the piano during the event. Join us for an evening that fosters meaningful connections and supports social integration. Your participation also contributes to the social mission of the café. You will have the opportunity to taste unique tea and coffee prepared by individuals with disabilities.

You can invite your friends as well to the event. Make sure they also register and secure their spots.

We are pleased to introduce the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the ADA University Alumni Association — Mr. Ziyadkhan Khankishizada.

Our proud BAIS 2020 graduate, Mr. Khankishizada currently serves as a civil servant at the State Agency for Preschool and General Education under the Ministry of Science and Education, where he leads nationwide initiatives aimed at enhancing the country’s education system.

Alongside his public service, he also holds the role of Fundraising and Investor Relations Manager at Technovate Investments, contributing to the growth of innovation-driven projects through strategic partnerships and fundraising.

We warmly congratulate Ziyadkhan on this new role and wish him the best of luck in his new journey with the ADA University Alumni Association!
