$2 SMOOTHIE: Frozen raspberries with coconut milk

Recess - smoothie and quiche,

Schools back Tuesday 14 October and so is canteen! Now opening on Mondays, however pupil free day this week we will open Tuesday to Friday!

Couple of menu changes please read carefully. Unfortunately the cost of everything is always rising, so our menu has to as well to keep running. However we will keep up our weekly specials and lunch packs but they will only be for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Keep an eye on fb, newsletter and the canteen notice board for added specials, changes, events and news!

As always, looking for volunteers. We have lots of spots to fill so please click the link below and come help make a sandwich or serve our students and staff.

Thankyou for everyone’s continued support to keep our canteen running. Today celebrates three years of canteen being opened and it has been a blast. So much learnt, food wise, preferences, student odd favourites 🤣

Happy last week of term 3!!

PLEASE NOTE:
DUE TO VOLUNTEER UNAVAILABILITY, THE MENU IS REDUCED THIS WEEK TO ENSURE QUALITY AND TIME EFFICIENCY FOR STAFF AND STUDENT ORDERS.

Fried rice and pumpkin soup!!!

Pumpkin soup:
Half a butternut pumpkin, roast in oven with a tablespoon (or more!) or garlic and ginger, seasoned with salt and pepper.
In a pot, fry off two diced onions.
Add pumpkin, and 2L veg stock.
Blend together, I use a stick blender. Add herbs and spices.
Oregano, parsley, cumin, nutmeg, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme.
Portion, add dallop of cream and enjoy!

I normally also add carrots to the roasting of pumpkin and celery to the pan frying onions. Extra flavour!

MAIN $5 fried rice. Rice, shallots, carrot, peas, corn, shallots, ham, eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil. Add honey soy chicken or plain chicken $2.

SNACKS: Lemon Blueberry muffin $2

DID YOU KNOW: our burger patties are home made? Beef, chicken schnitzel and veggie. We make them up and portion them in the school canteen! Fresh, delicious and seasoned to perfection!
