On tonight's menu 😋

Hit the Paynesville Pub to try their Parma & the little woman had the fish croquetas & beer batter chips 👍🏻

I give the Parma a 7/10 as it was nice, not too dry but I've had better and the salad was of a backyard bbq standard tbh 🤷🏻

As for the fish croquetas.....
The hollandaise sauce unfortunately breaks down with the gummy shark and makes the potato in the croquette runny and that was enough for the little woman to only eat one of the three, presentation they look good and they were crispy on the outside but two runny inside 🤦🏻 2/10

As for the chips 🍺 they were just chips and not really beer battered chips sorry to say 4/10

Sadly for the $60 it wasn't value for money that was the problem, it was the quality for the money as we've made very similar at home but much better 👀

On tonight's menu 😋

Roast Lamb Shoulder cooked for 3.5 hrs at 180°C and covered for an hour after the first hour.

Coated in olive oil and Jane's Krazy Mixed-up Seasonings before placing on a bed of fresh cut rosemary and drizzled with the juice of one freshly picked lemon.

Meanwhile steam whatever bloody vegetables you've got left in the fridge 👍🏻

Serve with your favourite gravy love and mint sauce with the k**b of garlic butter on your corn cob.

On last night's menu 😋

The Chilli Spud

Wash a remove the dirt from a big Thropedale potato before stabbing it with a fork before spraying olive oil over it and shaking some Jane's Krazy Mixed-up Seasonings and bake for 60 mins at 180°C before turning & spray more olive oil before returning to the oven for another 30 mins

Then after you've turned the spuds add a can of diced tomatoes and SML tin of corn to leftover taco filling & heat on the stove in a pot

Grate your favourite cheese, cut your butter, sour cream and salsa in readiness for when you cut up the spud.
