MONDAY 18th of MAY 2026

Student welcome to come in casual clothes appropriate for outdoor activity and possibly wet weather.

Lunch is provided, if your child has any dietary requirement we’re not aware of please contact the school.

YNPS MOTHERS DAY ACTIVITIES
Friday 8th of May 2026

Students will have an opportunity to shop at the Mother’s Day stall during school. Students can purchase from the stall using cash or vouchers (vouchers can be purchase at school office or via compass “shop/canteen” feature).

From 2pm, we invite Mums or a student special person to join us for an afternoon of activities across our classroom.

One week until our Open Day and Information Night! We are looking forward to welcoming our local Grade 5 and 6 students to the college next Wednesday.

A reminder that next Wednesday 6 May is a Student Free Day for current Year 7-10 students. Year 11 and 12 classes will run as normal. ⭐

This Saturday 25 April 2026, we pause to honour and remember the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Our town will be holding a commemorative ceremony beginning at 9am, and it would be wonderful to see a strong presence from our students.
In particular, we warmly encourage our School Captains and Junior Council representatives to attend and represent our school community.

Students attending are asked to wear full school uniform, including their badges.

Thank you for your support in helping our students engage with this important day of remembrance.

Photo forms have been sent home this afternoon to all junior students and tomorrow for senior students (due to school camp).

Family photos, form has been sent home with the eldest child.

Please use the QR code on the envelope to order and pay for photos. Cash payments are accepted but only until the day of photos.

For families with students currently on camp:

Students will be returning to school by bus today at approximately 12:40pm. You are welcome to collect your child from school at that time. If you are unable to do so, students will be supervised by YNPS staff until 3:15pm

If your child requires supervision through after school care, please contact the school on 5115 8500 to make arrangements.
