💗 STRONGER IN PINK – THANK YOU 💗

Over the past week, the WUMSS community has come together in an incredible way. From our first shave before Sports Day, to the amazing support after Sports Day, and another shave today, so many of our volunteers stepped up - from fresh shaved heads to newly coloured hair - all to stand in solidarity.

Together, we have now raised over $10,000 for the World’s Greatest Shave 💕

This effort is all in support of our beautiful medical student Kat and her 4-year-old daughter Tash, whose life was turned upside down in September 2025. Days that should be filled with play and laughter have instead been replaced by hospital visits, blood transfusions, intensive chemotherapy and invasive procedures. No child should have to endure this, yet it is the reality Tash and her family face every day.

To show Kat and her family just how much love surrounds them, our community came together to support them in the best way we know how - by standing Stronger in Pink.

A huge shoutout to Amy for organising such an incredible event and bringing everyone together for such an important cause 👏

What started as a show of support has already turned into something so powerful - our first shave has officially happened, and it’s only the beginning. The courage, love, and community behind this means more than words can say.

We continue to stand with Kat, Tash, and their family as they navigate a journey no child or family should have to face alone. Every shave, every donation, every share - it all counts.
