Stage 2 Boys Oztag Shine at State Tournament
Congratulations to our Stage 2 Boys Oztag team, who travelled to Penrith to compete in the Champion of Champions State Oztag Tournament.
The boys competed across the two-day tournament and represented Mount Terry Public School with great pride, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. They faced some extremely strong opposition from across the state and were highly competitive throughout the competition, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and resilience.
It was fantastic to see the boys support one another, compete with such a positive attitude and never give up, regardless of the challenge in front of them. They should be extremely proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school.
A huge thank you also goes to the parents and families who supported the team throughout the tournament. We greatly appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to travel to Penrith and support the boys over the two days. Your encouragement from the sideline made a huge difference.
Well done, boys — you did Mount Terry proud!

Another fantastic Southern Stars rehearsal today at the Illawarra Sports Stadium! ⭐✈️

Following our mass dance rehearsal a few weeks ago, our item underwent some significant changes, with new choreography to learn and several formation adjustments. Our dancers embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, showing resilience, teamwork and a willingness to learn. They adapted so quickly and it's been wonderful to watch our item come together.

Our performance is looking amazing and we can't wait to share it with audiences during Show Week!

What an incredible achievement for our Support Unit Boccia Team, who have finished 5th in the state in the Special Education tournament!🎉👏

Our team represented our school with such determination, teamwork, sportsmanship and pride. They competed against some of the best teams in NSW and should be incredibly proud of their achievement. 💪🎯

From training sessions to the big stage, they have shown just how much can be achieved with hard work, perseverance and a fantastic team spirit.

A huge congratulations to all our players and a special thank you to Miss Cosgrove and Mrs Leighton and families who have supported them along the way. ❤️
