New to our area? Come to Wollongbar Hall this TUESDAY, and join an informal, friendly group for stitching and yarning!
⏰ 9:30-12noon on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Bring your own stitching project (knit, crotchet, sew) or learn a new one.

🪱Composting Workshop 🌱

Last Friday, we were lucky enough to have Nikki from North East Waste and Justine, the Resource Recovery Education Officer from Ballina Shire Council, join us to present a fantastic, free composting workshop.

What a wonderful wealth of knowledge these two ladies have! We were so pleased to be chosen to host this workshop and the chance to show off our beautiful community garden 🌸.We are incredibly grateful for the time, knowledge and valuable information they shared with us.

Thank you, Nikki and Justine, for helping us learn more about composting and ways we can reduce waste and make a positive difference. Thankyou to all who attended, we hope you learnt something new 🌿♻️

Our community garden is for all ages, and we love sharing this space with the next generation. 💚

There’s something so special about teaching little ones how things grow, what they look like, and where our food comes from — then watching them pick, taste !

You can’t get much better than that! 🌿✨

Huge 'thanks' to Mark Roberts, from Revolution Rural Health Service, for such an interesting presentation at Wollongbar Hall last Tuesday. Mark shared information on how our muscle and bone changes over our lifetime, and how to ensure we keep those muscles and bones in good shape throughout our life. A really great, interactive discussion, and very thought-provoking. Thanks for giving your time and talent, Mark: really appreciated by all who attended.
