🐴When you have a geriatric horse in your herd, who can no longer roll effectively to give themselves a good scratch and their coat a good rough up, then you need to help them with grooming even more. Yes I brush him but sometimes a good massage really helps lift that developing winter coat 😘

🌈 Yesterday was a rainy, rainbow type of day.☔ More of the same today which is great for the country side and our beleaguered farmers but means sessions are on hold! Too miserable for horses and humans. 🌬️🌧️

This cutie patootie was back today but at a different window this time so got a good view of him.
I'm advised he is a blue-breasted Wren! Thank you Millie Foulis for following up with your sister.

I haven't seen this cute little fella so colored up before so not sure if it is a variegated fairy wren? Anyone know? He's been having a great feed of insects from my fly screens today.... Maybe it will motivate me to clean my windows 🤔😆

🦃The feathered neighbours came to visit Wilkydoo again- this morning this time investigating the sea container where I keep the horse feed.
I have asked that they use their powerful legs to dig over the compost pile if at all possible, so we'll see how they go 😉
