Hello Whyalla Community!

With YTAP not able to continue without a management committee, our bank account needs to be closed.

We have some limited funds which we would love to see go to a non-profit organisation that is doing great work in Whyalla.

Hi everyone!

We haven’t run any events for a while. The unfortunate reality is that the committee have a lot of other things happening in their lives, and we just don’t have the time to put into YTAP any longer.

Getting through Covid was hard, and our committee has struggled to find new members to run great events. There’s only a couple of us now, and we have come to the decision that we aren’t able to keep YTAP going.

It isn’t an easy decision for us, as we’ve had some amazing times and made friends for life through YTAP. We want to give one last try at getting a new committee together so the organisation can keep going.

If you’re interested in running events, networking and building relationships with new people, please please please send us a message! We would be happy to help you start out and mentor you on how things have run in the past. YTAP has the potential to be a wonderful ressource for Whyalla, and we really hope that there will be some people keen to take it on again.

Past events have included casual drinks, bowling, amazing races, karaoke, quiz nights, and of course our incredible yearly charity ball! If these sound like the sorts of things you’d be keen to organise, or if you have some new great ideas, we’d love to hear from you!
