Our teachers are dedicated to ensuring our students have access to the latest technology and training to support their learning. A wonderful example of this, is our investment in Realityworks simulation babies used for training purposes within our Early Childhood Education and Care courses.

🏆 HE DID IT! Congratulations Bobby!

We’re incredibly proud to share that Bobby Read has been named the 2026 Victorian Training Awards Teacher/Trainer of the Year!

When we introduced Bobby as a finalist, we shared some of the things that make him such a valued teacher - his commitment to his students, his strong connection to the landscaping industry and his advocacy for mental health and wellbeing.

To now see that commitment recognised at a state level is something our whole TAFE community can be proud of.

Bobby, congratulations on this very well-deserved achievement. Thank you for the difference you make for your students, your industry and our community every day. 💚

A big thank you to Wodonga Police for hosting our student superstars, Luke and Jordan. As part of their studies in Certificate II in Work Education, these two lucky students got to experience a day in the life of a police officer. Being able to get hands-on and try new things is what TAFE training is all about, and it's no different for our Access Education students.

Our Certificate II in Community Services (CHC22015) students have been hard at work preparing for their final assessment project. Drawing on the skills and knowledge gained throughout their course, they are coming together to host a donation drive and on-campus activities in support of the Amuka Foundation.

The supports communities in Kenya by empowering young people through access to education and essential support services. The organisation works to prevent and relieve poverty by advancing education, health and wellbeing, while helping to create long-term positive change in the communities it serves.

If you'd like to support this important cause, we are collecting new, unopened sanitary and personal care items. Donation bins are located throughout the McKoy Street campus and will be available from today until Friday 18 September.

Want to make a difference in the lives of others? Consider a career in Community Services. Applications for 2027 enrolments are now open. Visit our website to explore the range of courses available and find the right pathway for you.
