The Marshall Government has persisted in pushing the line that educators were only ever concerned about the money.

The education profession is unique compared to other professions because working conditions for educators directly impact on the learning environment for students.

There has been a media focus (encouraged by the Marshall Government) that our Enterprise Bargaining is just about a pay rise.

Nope.

Appropriate remuneration for educators is only ONE point in the AEU’s 7 Point Plan, which is our focus for Enterprise Bargaining.

Here is a handy diagram of our 7 Point Plan, which informed the AEU's Enterprise Bargaining proposal.

Just completed the first of 4 x 3 day workshops for our client TWE to get 45 employees to Diploma level of Leadership and Management. Great interested and motivated people and a wonderful client who recognises the worth of it's people and invests in their development. It is a pleasure to be involved with them! 👷🏻👨🏻‍🎓👩🏼‍🎓

Just finishing off our reporting to the Government for our program The Returning Woman Worker. It has been hard but very rewarding with some women stating that the course has been "life changing". We achieved good results and hope this will encourage more funding so we can offer it to other women.
