Our final day at camp 😢 What an incredible way to finish our adventure! 🏕️✨

We have packed so much into our last day, with some groups going body boarding 🌊, taking on team challenges 💪, and for the most daring… the high ropes! 😲🌳
After a quick lunch, students will hop on the bus and begin the journey back to school; sad to be leaving camp, but excited to see their families 💙

If you are picking up your child, we expect to arrive at school from 2:30pm. Please do not wait on Hardgrave Rd, as we need to disembark students safely and orderly. Once on Jane St Oval, students will place their bags in the witches hat section. You may collect your child, their suitcase, and any medication from the medication desk set up on Jane St Oval. Please ensure you let your child’s teacher know when you are taking them home.

On that note, we would love to thank all the teachers for the support, love and care they have given our students over the past three days—it is so greatly appreciated 💐
Finally, thank you to our families for your support and collaboration throughout the camp experience. We have truly had an amazing time with an equally amazing group of children… and we know they will sleep very well tonight! 😴✨

Our goal is to provide reports that are clear, evidence-based and truly reflect your child’s learning across the semester. 💙

What a fantastic time our Year 4s are having at camp! 🏕️✨

After a night filled with talent shows and laughter, our Year 4s drifted off to sleep around 8:30pm. 😴

Following a hearty breakfast, our campers were ready for another exciting day of adventure! Some groups soared through the air on the giant swing 😲, some challenged themselves on the low ropes and abseiling course 💪, and others enjoyed learning and participating in First Nations games 🖤💛❤

Tonight, we’ll be enjoying a hot dinner and winding down with movie 🍿🎬

Time is flying by, and we couldn’t be prouder of our WESS students. They have done an incredible job demonstrating our Ready, Kind and Safe expectations throughout camp! 🌟

The Year 4s arrived at camp and wasted no time getting into the fun! 🏕️🎉
After fueling up with spaghetti bolognese and fresh fruit, some groups headed off to enjoy the beach 🌊, others conquered team orienteering 🧭, and some bravely took on the giant swing! 😲💪
Smiles all around and the BEST start to camp! 😄✨

Year 3 Sports Day is underway! 🏃‍♀️🏅

We are excited to see our learners showcasing teamwork and a positive attitude as they participate in today’s events. It’s fantastic to see everyone getting involved and cheering each other on! 🎉

A big thank you to Mrs Roberts and Ms Stainer for all of their hard work organising our sporting carnivals. We appreciate everything they do to make these days possible for our community. 💙

Today at WESS, we held an evacuation drill. Everything went smoothly and our students were ready, kind and safe throughout the process.
Thank you and have a happy, safe weekend!

Please see the dates and times for the upcoming sports days. We are looking forward to seeing all learners get involved and give their best effort. Learners are encouraged to wear their house shirts to show their team spirit. Please also ensure they bring hats, water bottles, and sunscreen for the day. Families are warmly invited to come along and support our learners throughout the event.
