🚒🔥 Special Visitors at Story House Point Cook! 🔥🚒
Today, our children were thrilled to welcome a real fire truck and firefighters to Story House Point Cook! What an exciting and memorable experience for our little learners.
The children had the opportunity to explore the fire truck, learn about the important role firefighters play in keeping our community safe, and discover some of the equipment used during emergencies. There were plenty of smiles, curious questions, and excited faces as they got a close-up look at the truck and listened to the firefighters share their knowledge.
These hands-on experiences help children build confidence, develop an understanding of community helpers, and learn about safety in a fun and engaging way.
A huge thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to visit us and create such a wonderful learning opportunity for the children.

🏛️ A Day at Parliament House!

Today, our children had an exciting and meaningful excursion to Parliament House!

A special thank you to Matthew Hilakari for taking the time to personally guide us through Parliament and share how it works. The children learned that Parliament House is where some of the most important decisions for our state are made.

We had the opportunity to visit the special chamber where Members of Parliament meet to discuss and make important decisions that affect our communities, such as building new schools, colleges, hospitals, roads, and other essential services.

One of the highlights of the visit was seeing the beautiful throne, where the King's representative sits during special parliamentary ceremonies. The children were fascinated to learn about its significance and the traditions of Parliament.

Experiences like these help bring learning to life, inspiring curiosity, developing an understanding of how our community works, and encouraging children to become active and informed citizens.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this wonderful learning experience possible!
