Our youngest Clever Thinkers are exploring the magic of books — learning how to turn pages, point to pictures, and begin labelling the world around them. 🌱

These early experiences build:
✅ Book-handling skills – understanding how books work, turning pages with care
✅ Labelling and naming – connecting words with objects, feelings, and ideas
✅ Early literacy confidence – setting the foundation for a lifelong love of reading

💡 Learning Outcome (EYLF 5.2):

One of our kindergarten Teachers Miss Dee, has been supporting the children to create their own stories.
One of our friends created a wonderful story.

🧒 Story Telling enhances children's language and literacy skills

His Story: Jurassic Park

Once upon a time, there was Jurassic Park, where all the dinosaurs lived and the dinosaur world. All the dinosaurs escaped and they went to fairy land and they founded a unicorn and then they went to their dinosaur world and it's so fun because they're not in paddocks and they went back to the forest to dinosaur world. They run, they run and the spinosaurs and Baryonyx eat the fish together. Brachiosaurus eats some leaves because they were too much hungry and they played and the people went to Jurassic Park but there were no dinosaurs and then they went to dinosaur world and they loved it, they saw all the dinosaurs play and eat.
