What helps children feel safe when they’re playing at the park? 💛

The City of Kwinana asked local children and they shared their ideas. Now those ideas have helped inspire the City’s brand-new Bee a Playground Hero safety signs! 🌳🛝

Come along for a FREE family afternoon as the City launches the new signs and celebrates the important role children play in making our playgrounds safe, welcoming and fun for everyone.

📚✨Room 14 Has Had a Fantastic Few Weeks of Learning! ✨📚

Room 14 had another busy and exciting three weeks of learning, growth and achievement across our school.

Our students have been working hard in their classrooms, exploring new ideas, developing their physical skills and showing great enthusiasm for learning. From improving literacy and numeracy skills such as the relationship between subtraction and addition, to creative design projects and science investigations into the types of rocks and their properties, there has been plenty to celebrate.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, perseverance and positive attitudes our Room 14 students bring to their learning each day. They continue to demonstrate our Leda Primary School PBS values of Respect, Responsibility, Self-Control and Learner making our classroom a wonderful place to learn and grow.

We look forward to another fantastic week ahead and wish our interschool cross country contenders all the best for next Friday’s carnival.

VacSwim 2026–27 Enrolments Are Now Open!

Give your child the confidence and skills to stay safe in the water these school holidays! 🌊🏊

VacSwim offers fun and engaging swimming lessons for children aged 5–17 years with classes available for all abilities (Stages 1–16).

🗓️ October Program closes: Wednesday 19 August 2026
🗓️ Summer Program (December & January) closes: Wednesday 14 October 2026

Please note:
• Children can enrol in one October program and one Summer program.
