Saturday’s runners:

Rosehill Gardens:

Race 1: Queen of Clubs is third up in the midway over 1400. She was much better last start and looks to be trending toward a return to winning form. A good draw and solid tempo make her a good each way play today.

Kembla Grange Racecourse:

Race 4: So You Think mare Reine De Cristal makes her debut in the maiden over 1200 for midway trained horses. She will certainly be better over further but is worth a watch as her homework suggests she has above average ability.

Race 6: Lightly raced, talented mare, Performance (pictured) resumes in the class 1 over 1000. We have waited patient for a dry track and today’s race from a good draw looks like a the perfect race in which to resume. She finds an open contest but has the class to be fighting our the finish.

A huge day for the stable with a big team of runners stepping out:

Rosehill Gardens:

Race 1: We have two chances in the BM 72 over 1300 for midway trained horses. Queen of Clubs was disappointing first up but has been working well enough at home to suggest she can turn her form around. Miss Hades is first up from a sticky draw but is worth a watch with her trials promising a good prep ahead.

Race 7: Verona Rose (pictured) is second up in today’s Group 2 Golden Pendant over 1400. She was excellent first up against the boys but a horror draw does mean she’ll need luck this afternoon.

Race 9: Encap is second up in the Group 2 Shannon Stakes over 1500. His run was much better than it looked first up when slowly away before producing good closing sectionals. He’s hard to catch but has the class to bounce back if things go his way.

Kembla Grange Racecourse:

Race 5: Sin City Magic makes his debut in the midway maiden over 1200. He’s shown plenty in his trials but does have the widest draw to contend with.

Race 7: Gosh Almighty steps up to 2000 for the first time. He hasn’t been beaten far in two runs over the mile and, whilst he faces a stiffer test today, he looks ready for a rise in distance.

This Too Darn Hot x Nevershotthedeputy c**t certainly caught the eye on Saturday morning.

He’s closest to camera here running a sharp 10.6 for his last furlong to comfortably match a well performed older horse.

Royal Randwick:

Race 2: So Rebellious has finally drawn a good gate in today's midway over 1600. He's been racing well at this level without much luck and can outrun his price if he can settle a little closer from the good draw.

Newcastle Racecourse:

Race 2: We have two chances in a strong looking maiden over 1250. Yenisei was only ok on debut but his trials had been good and he can improve. Babyfaced Assasin will be better over further but is worth a watch on his favoured dry track.

A huge day for the team with several stable stars resuming:

Rosehill Gardens:

Race 2: Queen of Clubs resumes in today’s midway over 1200. The barrier draw has done her no favours but today offers a significant drop back in grade and her homework has been excellent in the lead up.

Race 9: We have two good chances in an open looking Theo Marks Stakes over 1300. Encap certainly does not win out of turn, but his last victory came in this race and his trials have given us confidence that he’s close to his best. Verona Rose has a sticky draw to contend with but has an excellent first up record and can make her presence felt if she has any luck.

Kembla Grange Racecourse:

Race 1: Gosh Almighty looks to break his maiden over 1600. He only just missed when second at a big price last start and that form was franked at metro level in the week. He looks ready to go one better today.

Saturday’s runners:

Royal Randwick Racecourse:

Race 1: Long Legs (pictured) is second up in today’s midway over 1400. Nothing went right when getting back over 1200 last start when well backed. If she can begin better today she looks to be a nice each way chance over a much more suitable trip.

Hawkesbury Race Club Limited:

Race 2: Dragon Port is second up in today’s super maiden over 1000. He didn’t handle the wet track at Nowra first up but can run better than his price suggests on a much firmer surface this afternoon.

Race 6: Farcolo looks to break her maiden over 1400 against her own s*x. She was good late over an inadequate 900 first up and looks to be a genuine each way chance this afternoon.

Race 8: Tiger Turf resumes in the 1400 maiden for the boys. He has good form around some of Sydney’s best two-year-olds from last preparation and, with two nice trials under his belt, can be competitive today.

Strollin’ By takes out the Super Maiden at Mudgee!

Our promising filly overcame the wide draw to justify her short odds with a cosy victory.

Well done to her all ladies ownership group who will be celebrating this afternoon! 🥂

Rosehill Gardens:

Race 1: So Rebellious (pictured) steps up to 1800 for today's midway. He had the pace bias against him last start when back in a slowly run race and is a much better chance than his generous odds suggest.

Kembla Grange Racecourse:

Race 1: Cool Ledger looks to break her maiden over 1400. She was good last start when making a long run and has her hoof firmly on the till .

Race 2: Gosh Almighty steps up to the mile, now third up. He will relish the rise in distance and can run well at an each way price.

Race 4: Both Tatiana and Sampeng line up for Godolphin in the 1200 maiden for fillies and mares. Tatiana brings good form and is worth watching with a view to longer trips. Sampeng trialled well before her debut when she had no luck at Canterbury, she can improve sharply.

Verona Rose dragged Zac Lloyd down the straight at Randwick today at her first trial back from a good spell. She will resume on the 12th at Rosehill.
