The Year 5 students have returned from a fun filled, adventurous and slightly chilli 3 days at Cave Hill Camp. A highlight is always a day at Sovereign Hill with gold panning, gold pouring demonstration and of course a trip to the famous lolly shop!

Thank you to Somers Camp who have welcomed 13 of our Year 6 students for their 9 day camp. They are going to have such an amazing time 🏕️

What a fantastic day our students had at our Year 3-6 Athletics Carnival 🏃‍♀️☀️

We were treated to amazing weather and it was wonderful to see our students giving their best effort in each event.

We are incredibly proud of our students for cheering each other on from the sidelines and demonstrating outstanding team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the day🥇

For the last couple of Fridays, our Year 5/6 students have competed against other schools at Winter Sports in teeball, netball, AFL, lawn bowls and soccer. They showed great sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the competition and represented our school with pride. It was fantastic to see students achieving some great results while also having lots of fun and building positive connections with their teammates and students from other schools. Thank you to the teachers who have coached, supported and encouraged our students each week.

This week, we were excited to welcome First Aid in Schools to Knox Gardens Primary School! 🚑⛑️

Throughout the day, students across all year levels took part in engaging and hands-on sessions designed to teach important first aid and emergency response skills. Students learnt age-appropriate strategies including how to call 000, basic CPR awareness, responding in an emergency and ways to help keep themselves and others safe.

At Knox Gardens Primary School, we are proud to provide opportunities that empower students with real-world skills and knowledge.

We were lucky to have Sam from The Cyber Safety Project out today to spend the day with our students, sharing important strategies on how to be safe, responsible and respectful online. Knox Gardens has a long-standing partnership with The Cyber Safety Project and each year they deliver engaging sessions for both students and parents.

The Cyber Safety Project is a leading Australian organisation dedicated to empowering school communities to navigate the digital world safely. Their programs focus on practical, real-life strategies around topics such as online behaviour, privacy, digital footprints, gaming, social media use and managing online risks. They work closely with schools to ensure their content is current, relevant and aligned with the ever-changing digital landscape, helping students build the skills and confidence they need to make safe choices online Cyber Safety Project
