2 weeks ago Gary Mannion and I spent 3 days in Germany.
They were magical days. Wonderful hosts and amazing sitters and harmonious seances. Gary's team has achieved some outstanding phenomena over the last few years when the energy was right in the group, like taking him through the wall to another room where he then woke up, materializations - sometimes 2 or 3 at once outside the cabinet, loved ones seen and heard, and now spirit are starting to build Jimmy's form to be seen next to Gary in the cabinet. (This is a promise Jimmy made to the medium in 2016, if he would continue to work with the team). And now at Beate and Uwe's place again the sitter group was right for full materializations walking, in good red light, through the rows of the sitters and interacting with them.
Here are Beate and Uwe's recollections from the seances with Gary Mannion in June 2026 at their home.
Hello friends,
From 19–21 June 2026, we had the great privilege of hosting Gary Mannion for three Physical Mediumship sittings in our home. Gary was accompanied and supported throughout the weekend by Inge Crosson whose care and dedication helped make these sittings possible. Together, they created an atmosphere of trust, warmth, and professionalism that allowed the circle to experience an extraordinary range of physical phenomena.
We had a wonderful group of dedicated sitters, who have all experience regarding physical mediumship and sit in circles themselves.
Over the three sittings, the sitters witnessed a remarkable variety of Physical Mediumship phenomena, including direct spirit touch, healing, spirit lights, independent spirit hands, ectoplasm, trumpet phenomena, and remarkable materialisations.
During the first sitting, the room was filled with a cool breeze before invisible hands gently touched each participant. Warm oil with a caramel-like fragrance was applied as a cross to every sitter's forehead. Several participants received healing, others experienced contact with loved ones, and chairs moved without visible cause. Throughout the evening there was a wonderful atmosphere, with much laughter and joy shared by the circle.
The second sitting brought even more dramatic phenomena. Spirit playfully removed one sitter's hair clip and placed it into another participant's hair before repositioning it again, creating much laughter.
Jimmy invited the group to express what they hoped to experience. Beate and S. both asked for full materialisation, while others mentioned different forms of phenomena.
Spirit hands carrying luminous objects became visible, allowing close observation of a small spirit hand. The hand was very small and looked like the hand of a young child. David explained his role in controlling what the medium could safely produce.
The sitters then witnessed a spirit face emerging in ectoplasm, followed by an extraordinary fully materialised figure walking slowly from the cabinet into the centre of the room under red light. The figure approached each sitter and even leaned forward to allow a closer view.
Further demonstrations included healing, changes in the perception of the medium's body, and participants observing different stages of ectoplasm production.
The third sitting built upon the previous evening's experiments. Under red light, ectoplasmic hands became clearly visible, with flowing ectoplasm moving between the palms.
Spirit hands attempted to bring through loved ones for participants. Beate received her contact first. S received a small stone placed into her hand. Uwe experienced a deeply emotional reunion with his younger brother Thomas, receiving both a hug and later seeing him again during the materialisation.
The trumpet responded intelligently to participants, including gently touching Beate after she expressed her love. Attempts to produce direct voice phenomena were postponed due to insufficient stability.
A second fully materialised figure appeared, visiting several participants individually. Uwe recognised Thomas, who acknowledged him with a nod, creating another deeply moving moment.
Other sitters were also able to recognize without any doubt their loved ones. It was very emotional for all of us.
Abraham later communicated through the trumpet using an amplified independent voice. The sitting concluded with further demonstrations involving altered perception of the medium's body before the circle was closed.
The full materialisations were undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend. Witnessing fully formed spirit figures walking freely outside the cabinet under red light was an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
For me and Uwe it was especially meaningful. We had waited for many years to witness a full materialisation, and now that dream had finally come true—right here in our own home. Even more incredible was the fact that we witnessed full materialisation on two consecutive days.
