At Spring Kidz, we value family and community relationships. Yesterday, the Children at Spring Kidz Bourkelands received a visit from local Police Officer and parent of the centre. The children were excited to sit in the Police car and listen to the sirens and see the flashing lights. 🚨🧑‍✈️

~Our Yearly First Aid Course~

All of our Spring kidz Educators combined to attend our yearly update for first aid. 🏥

This course will leave us feeling confident in how to calmly respond to an emergency involving children, babies, staff and parents/carers . Also skills and knowledge required to deal with non-emergency illnesses and injuries.

On Friday, the children at Spring Kidz Bourkelands celebrated their special Mum's, Grandmother's and Mother figures in their lives. They enjoyed an afternoon of activities and sweet treats. 🥰🥰

Big thanks to Sharnie from Bright Smiles Dental Surgery who came to visit the children at Spring Kidz Bourkelands on Monday. Sharni discussed with the children the importance of teeth brushing and choosing healthy foods 🦷🦷

We had a very special visitor at our Coolamon centre on Monday, Taliia brought in Marley her Macaw bird to visit the children. The children were able to ask lots of questions about her, they loved her colours and even got her to say "hello". This was a great follow up from pet week.

Yesterday, The Wagga City Council visited Spring Kidz Bourkelands to share the "Sharps" program. The children learnt about the safe handling and disposal of sharp objects such as needles and broken glass. 🦔

Happy Harmony Day 🌏🌈 Exploring cultures around the world.

Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds.
It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

On Wednesday 15th March, Mr Bamboozle visited Spring Kidz Bourkelands. He performed his magic show "Don't Give Up".
The children thoroughly enjoyed this interactive incursion. 🪄

Triple threat Riverina Wagga visited Springkidz Kooringal on the 8th of March.
The Children were involved in music movement and dance experiences and had a special visit from Peppa pig.

Yesterday, Triple Threat Riverina Wagga visited Spring Kidz Bourkelands. The children were involved in music, movement and dance experiences.
Peppa Pig then made a special appearance.

🐶🐱Love your pet day is a day dedicated to showing appreciation and affection to our pets who bring so much joy into our lives.
At Springkidz kooringal we had a few visits from some furry friends and learnt how to care for our pets. This lead us to collect some goods to give to the animal shelter in Wagga.
The Glenfield road animal shelter were very appreciative of our gift of blankets,toys and treats.

Today, Wendy from the Wagga City Library visited Spring Kidz Bourkelands. The children were engaged in a group story time and Wendy read "The Very Cranky Bear" and "Tap the Magic Tree". They also enjoyed songs and rhymes.

Spring Kidz has recently upgraded it's bus. We look forward to utilising this in the near future for incursions and excursions that we will plan for the centre. 🚌

Spring Kidz Early Learning Centre Bourkelands is currently seeing a centre Cook.

You will be cooking for up to 44 children per day, following a weekly rotating roster. You will be required to prepare meals for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and and catering for children with dietary requirements.

Applicants seeking permanent or casual work are encouraged to apply.

Alfie has received his new wheelchair, including a fast red seat and front wheels that light up. His chair is adjustable and should accommodate all his needs right through his primary school days.

Spring Kidz Early Learning Centre Bourkelands is currently seeking experienced Certificate III, Diploma Educators and Early Childhood Teachers for permanent positions. We are also seeking applicants for a Trainee position. Positions are available immediately.

Passionate, reliable, flexible and committed is essential. We are offering above award wages for the appropriate applicants.
Understanding and knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and Regulations is preferred but not essential.

You must be over 18 years of age, have a Working with Children's Check and appropriate qualifications.

A huge thank you to all of our families who donated gifts for our Allowah Lodge Christmas gift drive.
Some of the preschool children from Spring Kidz Coolamon were excited to deliver the gifts to the residents today.
They were all very happy and grateful to receive a gift, and we hope they all have a wonderful Christmas.

Last Friday, the children at Spring Kidz Bourkelands enjoyed afternoon tea with their families to celebrate the end of year. They joined in Christmas experiences including cup cake decorating, painting and games.

Meet the 2 newest members to the Spring kidz farm, 2 Mediterranean miniature donkeys to join our Highland Bull , Alpaca , miniature Nigerian Dwarf goat, South American Macaw, 9 Australian white sheep

Massive thanks to all the families so far who have contributed to our Christmas hamper at Spring Kidz Bourkelands. We will be gifting this hamper to the Wagga Base Paediatrics Ward next Tuesday 20th December. If you would like to bring in something to add there is still time ☺️✨🎁

Spring kidz kooringal had a special visit from Santa on Monday 12th December 2022. The children were very excited to see Santa and receive a special gift each and a bag of treats. This was followed by a yummy Christmas lunch with lots of Christmas songs and dancing.

The were gifted a present and bag of treats. For lunch, everyone enjoyed a delicious Christmas feast of roast chicken and baked vegies.

We are so blessed to have had this Santa and Mrs Claus visit us for many years. 🎄🎁

Today at Spring Kidz Coolamon, we had a visit from a very special person all the way from the north pole.
The children at Spring Kidz had the opportunity to meet Santa and receive a gift.
They had a lot of fun opening their present, talking to Santa and getting their photo taken with him.
For lunch, the children enjoyed a Christmas feast of roast chicken, vegetables and gravy. They each popped a Christmas Bon Bon, wearing the hats from within while they ate their delicious lunch.
Thankyou to everyone involved for making today special for the children.

Big thankyou to Helen from the library who visited Spring Kidz Coolamon on Tuesday.
The children enjoyed listening to the Christmas stories, "We are going on a elf hunt" and "There was an old lady who swallowed a star". They also had fun participating in the Santa craft activity Helen had organised.
We are hoping to do a story time with Helen once a month in the new year.

Big thanks to Kale from Zatoma Transport for bringing his truck to Spring Kidz Bourkelands today. The children were fascinated by it and of course enjoyed sitting up front and beeping the horn. 🚛

Recently children in the Blue Stars Room at Kooringal have been displaying great interest and engagement in drawing and painting experiences.
Extending upon this Educators have introduced simple directed drawing activities.
As we enter December and begin to get into the festive spirit many children have drawn and painted their own reindeer, what amazing artists we have!

Spring Kidz Kooringal will be working in with the Salvation Army team by supporting the flood victims in our surrounding areas.
If you would like to contribute to helping to support those affected by the floods, please bring in new toiletries and non-perishable food items.
These can be placed into the box set up on the verandah!

MEET ALFIE 💎

Spring Kidz Early Learning Centre's are raising funds to support one of our families to buy a wheelchair for their son. Next Wednesday, 7th December children are encouraged to come dressed in blue and bring a gold coin donation to show their support.

This years graduation theme was sunflowers, which was chosen as it represents sunshine, happiness, joy and growth. Like sunflowers, the preschool graduates have displayed huge developmental growth this year, blossoming with confidence, independence, shining bright and standing tall ready for their next adventure at primary school.
Thank you to all the parents who attended, we appreciate your continued support and we wish you all the best as your little person starts big school.

And finally, thank you to the Coolamon community for their support in our first year of operation. We have been overwhelmed by the number of enrolments we have received. We look forward to what the new year will bring.
