In 2022 - we are offering Free Preschool to children who are in their eligible year before school, or, who meet additional subsidised eligibility by other means, as listed below. Free Preschool effectively means that as long as Free Preschool Program runs, you will pay no GAP fee at all. This is however capped at 2 days during our Preschool hours. s fee schedule as a basis (i.e 2021) is below. Generally speaking, fee schedule is reviewed annually and increases according to CPI - these are only fractional increases, and do not occur each year. As a small Community Preschool, we are proud that our fee schedule has not significantly increased since 2020.
- Preschool child (eligible year before school) = $45 each day (Capped at 2 days):
- 4 or 5 years, and can go to school next year.
- Additional subsidised place (must meet one or more of below criteria) = $35 each day (Capped at 2 days):
- From 3 years - and identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander, and/or
- From 3 years - and from low income background deemed by a Health Care Card, or Pension Card.
- Preparation to Preschool = $55 each day (Capped at 1 day):
- From 3 years - and don't meet the Additional subsidised criteria as above.
- This will secure a Preschool place for the following Preschool year. Please keep in mind that under the National Law & Regulations, Bambi Kindergarten must give Priority of Access to children who are in the eligible year before school, from equity background, or who are otherwise considered vulnerable under child protection laws. Please feel free to call and discuss options available to you, if you meet any of the abovementioned criteria. Unfortunately, we do not have nappy change facilities at Bambi Kindergarten, therefore in the interest of Health and Safety for your child, we can only accept enrolments for children who are fully daytime toilet trained.
**We can only accept attending enrolments for children who have already turned 3 years of age.**
