Our Starlings and Bowerbirds had a fantastic day at the Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre.

Students took part in the Ramble and Play and Mission Earth programs, exploring the natural environment through hands-on activities, teamwork, investigation and imaginative play. From discovering local habitats to learning about sustainability and caring for our world, the day was filled with curiosity, adventure and fun.

It was wonderful to see students working together, taking risks, asking thoughtful questions and connecting with nature in meaningful ways. A big thank you to the PEEC staff for providing such engaging learning experiences!

UBSS Nature Detectives have made their pledge to nurture and protect our natural world.
The Under 8's day was glorious with the sun shining and all the support from our families and teachers. The students and our new Nestlings were exploring the environment, creating bird feeders and generally being curious about the world around them.

Join us as we celebrate Under 8's 2026: the joy of nature play and discovering our outdoors, interacting with trees, mud and water. The connection with living and country.
Held at Upper Brookfield State School this Thursday, 21st May at 9am-11am.
