We have 3 spots left for our very special “Budget friendly mini pie making morning this Tuesday 21st Jan 2025 “ for anyone who would like to come along and join us. 1st time ever location by the bay with a spectacular water view for our baking session and relaxing lunch together.

What is it?
Our Cooking Connection is a not for profit, free club under the umbrella of the Inclusive Learning Foundation to connect novice and master chefs with their joint love of food, cooking, & learning.

The club operates solely to connect the local community and bring back, connecting with our neighbours in our divine feminine. This means, the club is inclusive with strong enriched values of no judgment, no hierarchy, no labels e.g. no good cooks or bad cooks; just openness and courage to learn and try new things. The meet ups are a safe place to relax, unwind, connect with like minded people and away from the busyness or disconnectedness of life.

General Information

For centuries, women and families have come together with love to pass down knowledge, recipes and skills to enjoy cooking in the kitchen. With our modern life so busy and many families separated by distance, we have lost that very special connection and time shared in the kitchen. It's our time now to make some happy feel good hormones and connect to feed our body, mind and soul.

How does it work?

One group member demonstrates (live in person during the meet up) and shares their recipe with the group, followed by a shared meal. This may be in their home or at a chosen location. The chef of the day makes a list of ingredients beforehand and it is allocated to the group members who have RSVP and committed in time.

Each group member brings their allocated ingredient to the meet up.

How to people join?

New members can join by private invitation from an existing group member or by completing the membership form online.

Can't cook- no problem- come and learn!
Better still..... find yourself a recipe, practice and share with us.

Who am I? 💁🏻‍♀️What is Inclusive Learning Fund?

Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself again. I am a mum of 2 teenage boys who is home educating on the Bellarine. I would describe my style as a mix of unschooling and home schooling, depending on what my kids need at the time, their personal development stage and our lifestyle.

I continue to make mistakes and fail forward, try new things, and be adaptable. Along my journey I have also ‘unschooled’ myself to unlearn some of my traditional teacher training. I was a Maths and Science teacher and education consultant for 17 years, and was an expert numeracy improvement and mindset specialist- particularly in learning difficulties and anxiety.

I have created my own unique systems for numeracy and tools for getting rid of anxiety. I formally left the system about 4 years ago and last year I closed down my business and I started my own foundation “Inclusive Learning”. Inclusive Learning Foundation is not for profit, non-government philanthropic foundation. I am offering this UNIQUE authentic Literacy and Numeracy educational program that combines Holistic Wellbeing by explicitly teaching Personal Development and positive Growth Mindset to support families with home-schooling.

Volunteers 🥰are also needed to help with these programs and other community events. If you are interested please let me know.
