One of the highlights of the MENdatory Tour was the opportunity to give back.

The boys rolled up their sleeves to help restore and repaint a local community centre in Lombok, doing their part to improve a space that supports local families.

What started as a day of hard work quickly became a day filled with teamwork, laughter, and shared memories.

Grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a small way and leave the space better than they found it.

The modern man has been training for over a decade to not feel anything when he sees a woman disrespected online.

Desensitised one scroll at a time. One save at a time. One “it’s just a meme” at a time.

But desensitisation is not neutral. It’s a slow death of the part of you Allah created to protect, to honour, to lower the gaze.

Allah commanded the believing men, in the Qur’an, to lower their gaze. Not as a restriction, but as a protection. Because small habits of the eye become deep habits of the heart.

The man you’re praying to become is being unmade every time you treat a woman’s photo like a collectable.

Remember the man underneath the algorithm.
Next time you reach to screenshot, pause. Imagine her father. Imagine your future daughter.

Most people who think they aren’t good at anything aren’t actually missing skills. They’re missing self-awareness and structure.

Between spending time with local communities in Lombok during the MENdatory Tour, the boys were introduced to one of Indonesia’s most popular fruits: rambutan.

Known locally as the “hairy fruit”, it quickly became a favourite, with plenty of curiosity, laughs, and a few 10/10 ratings all around.

Safe to say it was a hit with the boys. 🍈
