Your local Doctor or GP has confirmed your pregnancy and faxed a booking in request to the closest hospital (from your residence) with maternity care services.
You are expected to wait for a phone call from the hospital to advise you of a date and time for a booking in appointment.
If you haven't already,
DO YOUR 📲RESEARCH👩💻
Find out what maternity care services are available for you in your local and surrounding areas.
For example: The Greater Western Sydney area offers Maternity Care Options from the public and private health model of care. Such as: Midwifery Group Practice caseload care, Shared care between your GP and hospital Midwives, Private Midwifery care or Private obstetrician care.
Details of these options will be in my next post.
