Our friends at Nan Tien Institute Student Group are hosting a screening of Until The Sky Falls Quiet, followed by discussion.

Back in 2017, Wollongong Friends of Palestine (then Students for Palestine UOW) held its first protest outside the Bisalloy Steel factory in Unanderra. Now, Bisalloy’s supply of armoured steel to Israel is widely known, and is the focus of national interest. Everyday people showing up to stop war and genocide. No Illawarra Steel for Genocide. Free Palestine. 🌱🍉

The 10th community picket at Bisalloy Steel has shut down the factory for 72 hours. That’s NINE shifts disrupted. Bisalloy Steel manufactures armoured steel for Israel, and are hoping to make armoured steel for an AUKUS submarine base. Together, we shut down this factory and help end genocide and war. People have the power. 💪❤️
