Demonstration Day 🐾

Before picking up the tools, it’s important for our students to first watch, observe and understand the correct techniques involved in safely handling dogs throughout the grooming process.

Demonstration sessions are a crucial part of learning. They give students the opportunity to see professional techniques in action, understand why we do things a certain way, and learn how to work confidently, calmly and safely with every dog that comes through the salon.

There’s so much more to grooming than simply picking up a pair of clippers.

Understanding handling, safety, technique and the dog in front of you is where the real learning begins.

One thing we always tell our students is: you have to start somewhere.

Professionalism doesn’t happen overnight. Confidence doesn’t happen overnight. And nobody starts out knowing everything.

If you’ve booked your course, you’ve already made a start. You’ve taken the first step towards building your skills, finding your style and becoming the dog groomer you want to be.
