🌼 What a day of herbal adventure it has been! 🌿 Our little explorers immersed themselves in a captivating group learning experience, delving into the enchanting world of natural herbs. 🌱 With hearts full of curiosity, they touched, smelled, and guessed the names of these aromatic wonders.

🌱 From the soothing scent of lavender to the zesty burst of peppermint, our young botanists were truly in their element. Their faces lit up as they encountered the treasures that our Earth has to offer – each herb unveiling its unique story and potential.

🌿 Through playful discovery, these young minds discovered the magic that nature weaves into these herbs. 🍃 Not only did they learn about the herbs' names, but they also grasped their scents, textures, and even a hint of their myriad uses.

🌿🎨 Celebrating First Nation Children's Day with our little artists in the Toddler room! 🎉👧🧒 They had a blast creating beautiful art using natural materials from our surroundings. 🍂🌺 Let their creativity bloom as they explored the wonders of nature. 🌳🌼

This Friday, 4th August, is National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day (Children's Day). This day is celebrated each year to honor the rich cultures and traditions of our First Nations children.

As part of the celebrations, our educators will be introducing the children to the book: "Spirit of Sound." This children's storybook beautifully explores the significance of hearing and sound in connecting with one's culture and community. It's a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn about the importance of sound in indigenous cultures.
