The Student Tutor Network is looking to expand! Student Tutors consists of exactly what the name contains; students. All of our tutors are either commencing or in the midst of University study. With tutors from most disciplines it can be seen that each tutor has successfully completed their own secondary schooling endeavours and continues further education.
Being students, flexibility is the one of the things we can offer in times of tutoring. Many establishments are on a 9-5 basis, while, our times can change on a daily basis, therefore, allowing students to have lessons before school, after school or even on weekends.
Student Tutors works with 5 different types of clients, of which you will have exposure to:
1. Private in home tutoring clients
2. Online Tutoring Clients
3. NDIS clients
4. Non government and Government Agency clients such as FACS and Ronald McDonald House Charities
5. Distance Education Clients; who have left mainstream school commonly to train as performers, sportsmen and women
Purpose of the role
Tutors provide students with support in their chosen learning endeavours.
Tutors will help students with subject content according to individual strengths.
Tutors will be able to help students with study strategies and techniques. Assist students in the transfer of their learning success from one situation to another.
Reporting relationship
You will be overseen by the Management Team based on the Central Coast NSW. You will also have access to a Team Leader in your area that inducts you and can be used as a contact of support.

* Patient, perceptive and understanding concerning students needs

Mandatory requirements
* Completion and HSC, and continuing further Education.
* Either experience in or passion for education, on all levels.
* A valid NSW Working With Children Check
* Access to a regular and reliable source of internet. (IOS, Android, PC, MAC)
* A drivers License and own transport.

Awareness : Admit your own weaknesses or lack of knowledge, and seek help whenever you need it. Stay informed and current in your subject area and do not be afraid to try new methods and approaches.
Enthusiasm : Be enthusiastic and have a good time, your enthusiasm will be contagious!
