📚✨ Book Week Fun! ✨📚

What a fantastic way to celebrate Book Week! Our school was filled with favourite book characters, creative costumes and plenty of excitement for our annual parade. A huge thank you to our families for the effort that went into bringing so many wonderful characters to life!

After the parade, we continued our celebration of all things books with a special visit to our local library. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore, share stories and remember just how much adventure can be found between the pages of a good book.

🍞✨ Preparing for First Holy Communion ✨🍇

On Friday, our Year 2/3 students participated in a special First Holy Communion Retreat, reflecting on the Eucharist and what it means to receive the Body of Christ.

A highlight was setting the table, creating special place cards for friends and sharing a meal together as one community. ❤️

We warmly invite our school and parish community to join us for First Holy Communion Mass on Wednesday, 12 August at 5:30 pm in the Hall. 🙏✝️

❤️💛🖤 Celebrating NAIDOC Week – 50 Years of Deadly ❤️💛🖤

Today our students were proud to join Trangie Central School and the wider community to celebrate NAIDOC Week. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together through fun, games, learning and friendship while celebrating the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s theme, “50 Years of Deadly,” honours five decades of celebrating the strength, resilience, culture and contributions of First Nations peoples. It reminds us of the importance of recognising the past, celebrating the present and inspiring the future.

A huge thank you to THRIV3 for providing a delicious BBQ lunch and to everyone who helped make the day such a memorable celebration. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Trangie community ❤️💛🖤
