Macro- Centre for Macroalgal Resources & Biotechnology are calling for Expressions of Interest and are inviting applicants for the following Research Assistant vacancy
Research Assistant (HEWL 4) – Townsville (3 positions):
These positions will participate in research experiments and field work as required, produce spreadsheets;
Sampling and processing of algae;
Carry out system monitoring on a regular basis and ensure that environmental data are collated as required;
Assemble macroalgal culture systems and carry out maintenance on same;
These positions will include laboratory and outdoor work with the potential to travel to field sites.
Full-time starting Tuesday 6th October (negotiable for the right candidate) until Thursday 31st December 2015. Please note that no visa sponsorship or relocation costs will be covered.

What: Introductory R-course
WEEK 2 : 6th to 10th July

Time: 9am to 5pm
What: Bayesian and Multivariate analyses
There will be no charge for this course. There is however only 20 spaces available.
