After 2.5 hours of chasing this Red Bellied black snake around an engine block. Got it out, and safely released unharmed. Lots of struggle, but worth it in the end.
Relocated from a property in Oakey.

Not everything has a happy ending unfortunately. This carpet python looks like it had been stuck in this PVC pipe for a very, very long time. Despite being rushed to surgery, it was too severe underneath the PVC to be saved after removal. Was euthanized by the vet.
