Lead your life the way you lead your horse, with forward Energy.
Sometimes we might feel the opposite. But that is another story 🙃😍.
Energy is an Internal job. You feel it, The Horse feels, others around you feel it.
Sometimes The Horse will 'lead' the direction of training or quite time spent together. I Do Not mean The Horse is pushing or pulling you all over the place. That is definitely another story 😊, train yourself, train your horse.
I'm talking more about the direction of training. Have a think about your gut feeling or test how The Horse is feeling. There is always multiple paths that will move you forward. Never approach horse training with a Set mind. That is why I prefer Mind Flow.
Two instances come to mind how simply leading a horse will teach or show you something.
Leading Ross' horse, Leo, one day I realised I was constantly clicking on to move faster.....I remembered that when I rode him I was always slowing him down. Leo had probably decided I was a bit 🤪 crazy. It really hit me when I saw it.
The other experience was with our old war horse, Rudy. He seemed to 'match' my steps. So we had this fun game of very slow steps & then quick steps. Which also developed into thinking stop & he would stop. He made me laugh 😃.
Step into your life, work, personal development, relationships, horse training with strength, Energy, purpose & honour. Without being bossy or demanding. But honour the space, people & The Horses around you.
