The Australian Theatrical Dance Championship

It was an amazing day of competition for all TDC troupe teams and their families.
Congratulations to all our troupes achieving incredible results but also for many of the girls taking to the competition floor for the FIRST TIME in the elimination solo, duo and trio sections in the 4/unders, 6/under and 8/unders.

We are so proud each and everyone of you. Just stepping onto the stage or competition floor is the biggest achievement. As that takes a lot of courage. Then to see you all do that with confidence is so special ✨

We would like to make special mention how nice it was to see the TDC dancers make friends with other dancers from other studios and then to cheer each other on was extremely nice to see.

We would like to congratulate Kevin on his results over the past weekend at the Southern Cross DanceSport championship in Melbourne.
We were so excited to see all your efforts paying off on the competition floor in ballroom and Latin.
Kevin successfully placed 2nd in the Masters 1 Pro Am Latin and made all finals in the coach student masters 1 ballroom and Latin events placing in the top 6!!! Such a huge achievement, we are proud of you. 👏👏👏

Today we said a massive farewell to the amazing Miss Thea as she prepares for her HSC trials and final exams later this year.

Miss Thea and her family have been a very special part of the TDC family, for almost 10 years. She started at TDC as primary school student and now finished as teacher.

We wish you the best of luck Miss Thea!
We will all miss you so much, but we know without doubt that whatever path life takes you on, you will be highly successful.

On Saturday our Ballroom team took the competition floor at the DME National Dancesport Championship, which took place in the prestigious Sydney Town Hall.

Congratulations to all our students, who all finished with great results across your events, we are so proud of you. The growth has been huge and it definitely showed on the day.

A special thank you to Kevin, Tim, Mayanna and Josh who all partnered in the lead and follow events. You did a great job, thank you

It has been a massive two weeks at TDC and we are super excited to congratulate our three performance troupe teams who competed at the City Lights Dance Festival two weeks ago.

A special congratulations to our 6/under Sparklers troupe who competed FOR THE FIRST TIME taking out 🥉PLACE 💖👏 this a massive achievement for only being together as a team for 4 months and for some of you only starting your dance journey this year.

Our 8/under Mini Star troupe light up the stage and finished in 🥇PLACE with their ‘Let’s Get Loud’ Jazz Routine. 🎉⭐️👏 you have all improved so much as a team in the last 6 months, congratulations girls!
