Very sad to read this but unfortunately not all that surprising seeing big egg producers engaging in cartel and anti-competitive behaviour.

Just another reason to source your produce from local producers.

We allege Australia's biggest egg supplier Sunny Queen and 11 egg producers and suppliers have breached competition laws by coordinating the production and supply of eggs in Australia.

Anti-competitive conduct disadvantages Australian consumers, who can face reduced choice and higher prices, as well as businesses looking to compete fairly or enter markets.

We've alleged that these companies coordinated in a range of decisions about their business operations, including the amount of eggs they could produce and what retailers the businesses could supply eggs to.

Kids back at school today for Term 4. If only they could be still for 1 moment for a nice photo.

So we popped down to one of our favourite cafes in Hervey Bay, Spotted Goat Kitchen for brunch. As always the coffee and food was amazing.

After a very busy weekend and Monday public holiday it was nice to let the hair down for a little bit.

Are there any stockists of this milk on the Fraser Coast?

We’ve been closely following the Rozynski family journey and would love to support them by buying their milk.

Kenikworth Dairies stepped in last minute to save this QLD dairy farm which was wonderful to see.

**PRICE UPDATE**

We haven't increased our market prices since the 1st of January 2024, but from 1st October all our dozen prices will increase 50c.

We've been putting off doing this for a very long time as it's not something we particularly enjoy having to do. We strive to keep our prices competitive as cost of living and inflation pressures make it difficult for families.

It's a tough business environment at the moment. Input costs for just about everything in our business have risen, with some rising substantially over the past 2 years. The outlook isn't good either with higher interest rates and further increases in our costs as high fuel prices make everything more expensive, from our egg cartons to freight.

Also, from 1 October businesses can't charge the EFTPOS surcharge, which is an expensive cost of doing business. Please pay cash at our local markets which helps reduce the cost of offering this.

Lastly, we aren't going anywhere. We love what we do and we are committed to supplying the Fraser Coast with high-quality fresh pasture raised eggs into the future.

It’s a special day today as we celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary.

We weren’t able to do much with Amanda’s health but we got her out of the house to see some of our friends.

Blessed to spend 12 years married with this wonderful woman. Here’s to many more.
