Happy 40th Birthday to man of the house. The glue that binds us together and keeps the mind and souls strong for the battles that keep throwing more jumps our way. Our family remains strong as we are together in business, family and one day some more quiet and cheerful moments. Hope it’s been a great morning at the markets- we’ll come down and see you soon.

Our new flock are laying their absolute socks off at the moment!!!

Lots of the 600g eggs and they are quickly turning into 700g which is great.

While we have plenty of the 600g we are putting a special on.

We unfortunately have some horrible news to share with you all.

Amanda has been diagnosed with brain cancer again after being quite unwell over the past month. She is currently in hospital awaiting treatment.

I want to say a massive thank you to our extended market family who have been incredibly supportive during what has been a very difficult time for our family, especially the kids. You guys are the reason we keep going.

It’s early days and we are staying as positive as we can. Amanda has beaten cancer twice and will beat it a third time.

UPDATE!!! All sold…pending pickup

We have around 50 of our 2nd year laying hens left for sale. We’ve managed to rehome nearly all the flock to good homes.

They are laying massive eggs at the moment. All 800g and 900g in size.

$10 each. Pickup from our farm in Tiaro.

THE FABLED TRIPLE YOLKER!!!

Super rare today. An egg that I reckon is the biggest we have ever got. 153 grams!!! That poor chicken. It had a little crack so we couldn’t sell it so it became Nick’s lunch.

Upon cracking into a bowl there was 2 yolks…and ANOTHER WHOLE EGG. Very, very rare.

Hope everyone has been getting lots of double yolkers from our new ladies.

We managed to enter our eggs in the 2026 EKKA this year for their 150th show.

Our pasture raised eggs managed to come third which is a massive achievement considering all the entries this year.

Huge congratulations to Lower Mountain Pasture Raised Eggs for their first place as well.

That’s 2 of the top 3 winners just from the Fraser Coast. How’s that!!! You Fraser Coast residents sure are spoilt for eggs.

Amanda and I would like to thank the extended Fraser Coast community for their unbelievable support at our local markets of late.

We are bringing as many eggs as possible, but are selling out early with lots of regular customers missing out.

The blueberries are selling out around 9:30 also.

Our newest flock is laying over 1,000 eggs and rising. The lay rate should continue to rise to between 1300-1400 soon so hopefully a few more dozens available at the markets.

Again, thank you to everyone for your support. It means more to us than you know.

DONT FORGET WE ARE SELLING HENS TOMORROW FROM 2-4pm.

We have received an absolute crazy amount of demand for hens so I’d say get in as close to 2 as possible as they will likely sell out very quick tomorrow.

If you miss out, we will be selling another flock in around 2-3 months as well.

Local spray free blueberries from Mundubbera straight from the grower.
