Happy International Women’s Day!Β

International Women’s Day is aΒ celebration of social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

Reflecting on changes that have occurred throughout time, and all the inequalities that still exist, it's important to ensure what we seek to achieve is in true betterment for women, their communities, and society as a whole.

Ensuring everyone's human rights are honoured and maintained.

Ensuring that "women having it all" doesn't create a big endemic of women in their toxic masculine energy in an attempt to keep "it all" moving forward, leading to illness and burnout (trust me, it's not fun at all).

Allowing all humans to be in their healthy masculine and feminine energies to create a harmonious existence.

Swipe for roller bottle blends that can help you achieve more balanced hormones and nervous system to be able to help bring this all into fruition.

And let’s celebrate you, and each other! In the comments, tag a woman who inspires you!

Anoint yourself with a personal aroma / pure-fume that offers comfort and healing during tough times.

Don't add toxins to an already stressed out body and nervous system - use diluted essential oils to smell amazing and nourish yourself.

Helichrysum Touch is a great made roller bottle with the essential oil already combined (diluted) with fractionated coconut oil.

Apply Helichrysum Touch over your heart and wrists.
Then add 1 drop Console over the top and gentle massage it in, taking time to deeply inhale the aroma from your hands.

Got leftover sausages that need an uplift?

Warmer weather = BBQ = leftover meats for lunches or tomorrow's dinner.

Turn them from drab to fab!

πŸ”΄ 2 already cooked beef sausages, sliced into rounds
🟠 Rice noodles of choice - I used pad thai
🟑 Shredded veggies of choice - I used the supermarket kaleslaw mix

Dressing: (approx measurements, as I was just adding stuff together)
🟒 2 tablespoons olive oil
πŸ”΅ 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
🟣 1-2 teaspoons coconut aminos - I used the Ceres organic brand which has seasonings in it already
πŸ”΄ 1 teaspoon local honey
🟠 2 drops Lemon essential oil
🟑 1 drop Ginger essential oil
🟒 The seeds mix from the salad kit

Cook rice noodles as per directions on pack.
Meanwhile make dressing; combine all ingredients and stir to combine.

To serve, put noodles in bowl, top with some dressing and mix to combine.
Top with sausages, salad and drizzle over remaining dressing, and mix again.

Enjoy!

"COURAGE is the power to let go of the familiar." ~ Raymond Lindquist

With all the energetic and astrological changes of late, are there old patterns, limiting belief, or stagnant energy that you're struggling to release?

As frightening as change can be, especially if there is grief and loss that comes with it, sticking with the familiar may not support your highest potential and may not be the healthiest choice.

Does your home, your heart and your third eye chakra need cleansing?

Try this diffuser blend:
πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’› Lemongrass
πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ Lavender
πŸ’œ Patchouli

Lemongrass encourages discernment, non-attachment to material things or circumstances and supports clearing of negative energy.

Lavender encourages emotional awareness, and a soothed and calmed mind and nervous system.

Patchouli helps you to connect back into your physical body and ground your energy.

πŸ’— Joy. Filling our cups.

Families coming together, sharing food that was lovingly prepared.

The sound of children exploring and playing together.

Such bliss. Music to my ears, and to my heart.

So much to be grateful for πŸ™

The journey of Awakening.

Turning inward, diving into the depths of your shadows, fears, trauma and default coping mechanisms....

It's heavy, ugly and leaves you with gaping wounds as the pain and patterning that no longer serves is burned to the ground; energetically, emotionally through uncontrollable tears, and taking on a physical form with days of fevers, diarrhea, relentless coughing, headaches, vertigo, pelvic pain, and extreme weight loss.

Your spirit team takes all of this energy from you, with your willingness to release it, transmuting it so it can no longer cause harm.

As these feelings and emotions move through you, sitting in the mess that is your grief and pain, so thick and overwhelming you feel as though you cannot breathe.....

The need to retreat into safety while the rawness of your wounds need tending to, wounds you've never experienced like this, grateful for each day you wake up, accepting this process cannot be rushed, yet hopeful things will start to ease….

And then the time comes where your spirit is ready to start to bloom and become visible again.

When you feel that pulse within, that nudge to venture beyond your sanctuary of safety....

As you feel your strength and curiosity return....

Use Clary Sage to help you achieve clarity in your vision for your new chapter, your new way of being....

This is the time to be open to new possibilities, to more creative approaches, dusting yourself of the ashes that linger on your being, cutting through feelings of confusion and fear, instilling hope and confidence in your path forward.

Which diffuser combo do you feel most drawn to? Let me know in the comments and I'll share with you how those oils work together πŸ’œ

ADRENAL SUPPORT DURING TIMES OF BURNOUT

I've been focusing on supporting my adrenals a lot lately.

So many people I know are feeling the pinch from modern life, cost of living fears, relationship breakdowns, being stretched thin.... with cortisol levels likely to be at chronically high levels.

So if you're in the thick of any of these things, and especially if you have an undefined Root centre in your Human Design (bottom square on your chart), then this roller recipe is for you.

For me, while what I've been experiencing since mid-October has been more than only burnout, I know my adrenals are needing some overdue TLC.

But what is so important about our adrenals?

Adrenal glands are small triangular-shaped glands located on top of both kidneys.

Adrenal glands produce hormones that help regulate your metabolism, immune system, blood pressure, response to stress and other essential functions.

The role of the adrenal glands in your body is to release certain hormones directly into the bloodstream. Many of these hormones have to do with how the body responds to stress, and some are vital to existence.

Source : Johns Hopkins Medicine

I've been using Basil on my soles of feet with my sleep oils, and on my back where my adrenals are, for a couple of weeks now.

But seeing this recipe has inspired me - I'll going to make up this roller blend tomorrow.

Let me know what you think of this combo.

πŸ’–πŸ™ it's World Kindness Day today.

This year's theme is β€˜Acts of kindness start a ripple of change that can transform the lives of children, families, and entire communities'.

Acts of kindness are those that are respectful and understanding of all impacted by the act.

Cooking a meal for someone is an act of kindness, something I was the grateful recipient of recently.

However, you wouldn't cook a beef casserole for a family you know are vegan, right?

Here are some ideas to get you inspired:

1. Smile at someone

2. Send a text to a friend letting them know you're thinking of them

3. Buy the meal of the person in the line behind you

4. Compliment a stranger - when we genuinely love what we see, I tend to compliment people's nails, my daughter compliments people's hair

5. Share an oil with a friend - a drop in their hand, a DIY roller bottle or spray.

What's your favourite act of kindness?
